The media could not be loaded. Love this burner soooo much! Fantastic value and functionality. This is the small one but I had to go back for the tall one too! I’m burning a musk cone right now. It’s calming and so much fun! Makes perfect sense to have a plague dr incense burner. The mask and nose cone along with the tanned leather outfit was used so various protective herbs like lavender and rosemary were stuffed in the cone to breath through it. Drs noticed that tanners weren’t getting sick so that became their PPE.Update - just received the larger version. LOVE IT! Might be easier to use since standard size cones fit easily in it. I have to snap off the top of a cone for the smaller one.

Super cute but didn't fit the cones i had.

I was worried based on other reviews that the space for cone incense would be too small, but it's the right size.It's very lightweight but well crafted. Additionally, it states that the cane the doctor is holding works for stick incenses, which I would say is not true. The stick barely goes in, and the ash would fall everywhere so this is definitely just for for cone incense.

Product is just as pictured. Super cute and the smoke definitely comes out of the eyes. My concern is that the paint on the inside is literally melting away with every cone I light. I noticed it and figured maybe it was just residue from the smoke. It was most definitely the paint melting. I’m gunna try to figure out a way to properly coat it so it doesn’t do that anymore but until then I won’t be burning anything in it.

I got the large one after reading the reviews and the cone is still a little too tall for the entry but it works. This comes with a set of tweezers to help position the cone which is helpful. It does a great job of distributing the scent and its adorable in appearance. Perfect for any plague doctor lover. My only concern was when the back was burning during lighting the cone, lucky it didn't hurt much other than some of the paint. I will say, the top of the hat was a bit warm when I tried to reposition it but it wasn't so hot that I was burned or anything. Overall, I'm very happy with it

This plague doctor is really well-executed, and the painted details are great. It has a relatively deep well in back for small sized incense cones, and is very effective with the smoke coming out. It is about 4 to 5 inches tall. However, even with the small tweezers, it is a bit tricky to get the lighted cone into the well. That not withstanding, I love this accent/conversation piece!
