I don't usually post my ratings. I know, terrible, but I'm busy.I am a cosmetic formulator, and recently got into soap making. I purchased this after watching a Youtube video, and it works great! I bought the blue one because it was on sale, but glad I did after I used it. I felt that keeping it sanitary would be easier than wood. Good manufacturing practices (GMP) are a must!

The item arrived broken and was inconvenienced to ship item back to get a replacement. The cutting arm has a lot of play in it and seems like cuts won’t be perfect. I would recommend a guide for the cutter to insure perfect cuts. The item definitely isn’t as sturdy and commercial as I had hoped. For what it is and the quality this cutter is over priced!

DO NOT BUY...I never write bad reviews, but this is ridiculous. My original order was covered in scratches and now the REPLACEMENT is in even worse condition. Do Better!

Very easy to put together and to set thickness you want, 1 screw and it’s apart for better storage space

I am glad I purchased this item. It does smaller cuts which is perfect. The only draw back is the way the cutting wire and the platform aren’t totally in sync. It wasn’t cut or matched perfectly so when cutting my soap I have to remember that and make adjustments on how I bring down the handle. Kind of a pain.
