I had to start wearing compression socks and they do t always stay up easily. I use this adhesive and they stay up all day even after I’m very active. I don’t nice a smell and I don’t find this messy at all. The bottle makes for easy application.

I’ve used this on four different pairs of socks, and it has helped all of them stick. As you can see, my thighs are not the smallest ever! And let’s just say that when I’m doing cosplay events, I get a little rowdy. I needed something that can withstand hours of jumping around with thousands of strangers. Something that could be pushed to the limits without leaving weird residue. Something that allowed me to keep the distracting garters/garter belt at home. Then I found this & I’ll never look back! Actuallt, better yet? I’ll never make my friends stop walking ahead while I fix my socks! It didn’t irritate my skin at all. It has a slight smell to it, I guess, but it is not distracting. Functionally, it’s incredible all around! The ONLY drawback was getting the little roll-on ball on the inside moving for the first time. Mine was a bit stuck, but we fixed that easily.

It is an adequate compression glue, but it needs to have more stickability, because you have to use more than you need, for the item to stick on longer.

I love this brand for glue for costumes for my dancer. It is durable, doesn't smell and easy to rinse out of costumes by using cold water. However, the ball was stuck on this one and took me over an hour to get it loose enough for the glue to start coming out. Like I said, I have bought this before and that's never been the case, just a faulty one. If you have a dancer or clothes that need to stay in place use this glue.

Love the ease of placement. Globe may need to be wiped from time to time, if it doesn't immediately roll. Places a thun layer. Clothing sticks well. It did show thru on a thin polyester blouse of a solid color. Had to change but it washed out easily. It has made me itchy sometimes so I am more precise about placement. Never developed a rash or visible skin irritation. Has always washed out. Doesn't leave fabric stiff after use so I am not dry cleaning anything after every use. I love it. It will last a very long time. No odor noted. Works great.

This works very well used it for a low cut dress held in place all day under extreme heat and humidity.

It Holds is seriously life-changing for my cosplays and festival outfits. Got some stockings that you don't want to use garters on? Use It Holds. Want to keep a tube top or leotard in place? Use It Holds. Seriously, it washes off of skin and fabrics with just soap and water, but is fairly sweat-resistant for many hours; I used it on some tricky stockings for a 12-hour music festival in the Vegas heat and they didn't budge an inch!

I buy this every year. Really useful for Dance competitions.

It worked and did the job but I found I had to use a bit more than expected and that made it take a bit longer to dry

The roller application tip was stuck and unable to roll as others have reported. However that is not an issue, just run it under warm/ hot water and it will shortly loosen up. The smell is horrendously terrible! Although not noticeable after a few minutes of use, I was extremely concerned others might smell it as well, since it is potent, but I think it's just an application issue, so as long as you have some decent ventilation and don't use it near your face you should be okay, just be warned about that. The worst part of this product is its holding ability. Which, to put it bluntly, is why we purchase this product. If you can imagine a sticky sugar candy, or gum, that would be like a very light adhesion, enough to tack your fingers together, but easily overcome, and washes off with water. That's very comparable to this. I would say this is a light to light- medium tacky hold. It seems to be very goopy, it's slightly slimy, a little little a glue stick where you have to reapply over areas to get full coverage. You let it tack up and then press on what ever your gluing. I found that it just didn't hold, the glue seemed to separate from itself. That is to say, it would adhere to skin, and clothing, but didn't hold the clothing to the skin, ie the glue would became two separate sides. It didn't work for silicone to skin either. There really is no bond strength, and can easily be removed with little more effort than your sticky sugar fingers. THIS IS A PRODUCT FAIL! Now if you're looking to glue something very lightweight, or something mostly staying in place, but just need an extra tack for piece of mind, this might work, but you get the terrible smell. Wash off was alright, it turns slimy, like really slimy, and it's tough to tell if you've removed all of it. Best to do a whole shower and scrub, soap is not needed, but probably will help. The texture of the "dried" glue is kinda like a plastic-y typical glue feel, you don't really notice it on the skin, other than obviously you've glued something to yourself, but unless it's a really large area it's not bad. Because of the lack of glue strength, there is movement in the bond. So it's never permanent. If you glue yourself with CA (super) glue, you know that's a permanent skin holding glue; this is not that. It can be removed and reapplied, or objects might migrate position, everything kinda moves like in molasses. Thinks it might be good for: gluing paper to your skin, feathers, glitter etc, small light objects. It might hold a paperclip, but I'd suspect not much more than that. I wasn't able to do any sweat tests, or water submersion tests, the glue just failed long before I even got there, so make of that what you will. I didn't have any reactions, or discoloration, but I also do not consider my skin to be sensitive and bothersome of other chemicals/ products. I won't be buying again. Unfortunately it's non refundable, and a waste of my money. Hopefully this review helps others.

DressTech is twice the price (ouch), but holds at least 3x the weight reliably, no significant chemical smell, cures properly and fully, is only affected by very heavy sweat. But at almost $100 for a small 4 ounce bottle is ridiculous. Main negative for these products is rediculous cost for what is effectively just a glue. But better to pay twice the price for a product that works versus $50 for this product which has limited to no use. And the smell….
