There are a few ways to judge a product. First... construction. This device is solidly built. Very sturdy, very strong. It can hold much much more than its space allows. That means it'll hold onto anything you throw at it. Next... options. We purchased this with the electric motor, and it works perfectly. We decided that we wanted to be a little more portable (possibly use it away from home), but also wanted the ability to move the grill elsewhere on the deck but not have to drape a power cord across the deck as a hazard. So with a little trepidation, we bought the battery driven motor -- how well could two D-Cells drive a rotisserie motor, after all? Well... Damn. It handles it just as well as the electric motor, and we haven't had to change batteries yet, after a season. It's almost possessed how much it wants to cook that chicken. Third... The results. Simply the best results we have ever had. The chickens and roasts we've run through it have come out amazing. We may still be learning how to best prepare meats for rotisserie, but the rotisserie itself gives spot-on results. At the end of the day, this rotisserie is beefier and stronger than other brands (including original manufacturer brands), and an equivalent or even better price. However, you want to make sure that you order one specifically rated for YOUR grill. Make sure you match the model numbers and check any asterisks that might exist. There are subtle differences between different grills that make various parts not work with your grill, but they seem to have one for just about everything out there. Short summary: It works great, it's solid, it's seriously easy to clean and even the battery driven motor is surprisingly good.

Very happy with the purchase. Before buying, I looked into several competing brands and settled on the One Grill Product. It is a higher priced item. Several items: First, as a Prime Customer, I am spoiled by the speed of delivery from Amazon, and was disappointed that One Grill was not on Prime. No worries though, the product came faster than stated and almost as fast as a Prime delivery. Second, the product is packaged well. Third, as it is designed for a Weber, the instructions and fit were perfect - easy to install - with a high quality motor. Finally, the quality is there, the spit is a large and very stout one piece stainless bar with a counter balance and handle with good spit rod forks and excellent fit and finish. In comparison to the competitors product this spit is thicker and has a counter weight that comes in handy for off-shaped foods and the spit rod forks are good quality also. I have cooked as many as 3 chickens at once on this product without a strain in the motor or a sag in the spit rod. The one complaint would be the difficulty in cleaning some of the crevices in the spit rod forks. But, I have encountered this problem with other manufacturers also. In summary, all things considered, the product quality, service and performance are worth it. Great product.

Great quality, fits my Spirit E-310 perfectly. The motor is super quiet. Something that this has that I haven't had on previous rotesseries is a counter balance weight that really works great to keep the food turning at a constant rate. I highly recommend this unit.

The quality of this product is so far above what Weber is currently selling for the same price that it's shameful. Every single piece of metal on this kit is stainless steel, and the spit rod and forks are far sturdier than Weber's. I would've bought the Weber product (looked there first), but the reviews pointed out that (1) the handle was flimsy metal, so absolutely impossible to handle without good mitts, and (2) it comes in sections, so not as solid as this spit (it's flimsier overall, but that wouldn't necessarily be a problem if it lasts). Assembly was as easy as could be, and it works perfectly on my 3-burner Genesis II grill. Sadly, the design of the grill itself is poor - the slots for the rod are too close to the grates and burners. I might have looked for a different grill if I had noticed that. But it's still ok for grilling a chicken or duck. Forget about a large roast or a turkey, though, even though the OneGrill rotisserie forks could easily hold a large bird. We're lucky that a company like OneGrill offers such a high-quality product at a very good price. Excellent value.

When I first received this product, I thought that it was going to sit too low in my grill and not allow for any decent size item to rotate. I sent an email to the One Grill support team and received a call within 15 minutes. I was a novice, so this polite gentleman explained how to make everything work and I told him that I'd try grilling a small roast the next day. My test grilling went great....roast was better than I expected. The equipment worked great and was a very easy clean up. The next day I received another call from the gentleman at OneGrill asking how everything went. I told them it went great and how much I appreciated the great support from OnGrill. So, I'd highly recommend this product. It's very stable on the grill and looking forward to using it again. But I'm also very happy to know that I did business with a quality company that shines in support if there is an issue. A big thank you to Brian at OneGrill for the great support.
