I needed broader microphone coverage for our meetings and purchased this expansion mic. It connects easily to the OWL and requires no extra configuration. The mic does a great job picking up voices in the expanded area. Integrates seamlessly with the OWL. Highly recommended.

Must have accessory for anyone that uses the OWL in a large meeting room. Allows Zoom participants to hear all the conversation. Very pleased.

We were troubleshooting other issues with the owl tabletops and the owl bar and then waited too late to test the mic but it never seemed to ever work. We plugged it into 2 different owl devices. stuck with it now.

According to feedback from the audience who joined via Zoom from overseas, the expansion mic produced an echo, making it difficult for them to hear the presenter clearly. We considered getting an additional expansion mic; however, we noticed that one Meeting Owl can only support one expansion mic. We hope this limitation can be improved in future versions.

Adding this to our Owl video system really helped catch voices from multiple locations in a large board room.
