Update: Kitsch contacted me and went above and beyond to make things right. I now have a brand new clip that I love. Thank you Kitsch! The clip holds my thick, coarse hair amazingly! Wore once, loved the way it held my hair, but one little tumble from the bathroom counter and it's in pieces.

Good hold, nice colours

Purchased in March 2025, broke in September 2025, with only occasional use. The plastic material is too soft so it doesn’t grip the hair/you need to adjust it constantly for it to stay in place.

I've gotten through so many hair claws (styles, materials, sizes, you name it). This is by far one of the better quality claws I've gotten. It's definitely priced on the steeper side for hair claws, but I truly think you get what you pay for. The quality is good, the acetate material is thick and sturdy, the spring is good, and it doesn't snag my hair. I have thick, dense long hair, and this claw holds it up well. My only complaint is that compared to plastic (acetate ones), they don't have as much as a strong grip. If you're active and bouncing around, this might not hold it down. Edit: If you have silky sleek hair, it might not hold up the best. I started using conditioner recently, which makes my hair texture smooth and straighter. I find that this claw clip doesn't hold as well for straighter/smoother hair compared to when my hair is wavy/textured.
