North Coast 500 The Road Trip of a Lifetime 2025 – NC500 Guide Book by Robbie Roams

This is a great book. Lots of detail, tons of information without being overbearing and a must for anyone who is planning to do the NC500. This is a guidebook which does the job without telling what to do and where to go, whilst at the same time pointing out some amazing points of interest along the route, with tips about when to visit. This is going to be super helpful when I’m planning my trip later in the year and means I can pick out the stuff I want to see and plan where I’m staying, eating and photographing.

This was recommended by people who had done the trip and used this book. they said this is the best book to have. it’s very clear and well written, good quality pages, and has all the info I need to plan a successful trip! very happy with the purchase, I feel confident that I can chose the best route with this book as guidance.

A great little book which provides a recommended route with points of interest. We particularly like the inclusion of several itineraries, which have set out suggested places to visit and the points of interests while there. Itineraries cover several variations in time, depending on how long you are able to spend completing the NC500.

Very clear planning with info. A little costly though.

Excellent travel guide, well written, easy to follow, nice pics, lots of tips (what to pack, suggested itineraries) and details (including restaurants, places to visit and accommodation including campsites) ideal for our Scotland NC500 trip in our Campervan. PS. If you are still considering whether to do the NC500 - don't dwell it's fab. We took 7 days from the 8th September 2022 (from Inverness anti-clockwise back to Inverness). We did de-tour on the way up to leave flowers outside Balmoral. The weather was excellent, the locals all friendly, the midges had gone, the scenery is stunning. We stayed at lots of campsites in the book and ate at venues they recommended. We visited some "things to see" that we might have missed but for the book - overall very pleased with purchase. The book feels great too lovely paper, the print size is good, ooh and a bit weird perhaps but it smells good too ...... I would certainly purchase more "Robbie Roams" guidebooks....... (UK - West Coast? East Coast? South Coast?)

This book is absolutely amazing, it's a definite must if you are planning an NC500 trip. We bought this book alongside a map. This book has everything you need to know about planning your trip, including where to stay, places to see, where to eat and drink. It has suggested itineraries you can use if you don't want to do your own. It has hints and tips on accommodation, packing, bringing your dog along, getting around, costs and so on. It has everything; this book is a gem and I'm so pleased we bought it. We're in the process of planning our trip and this book will be going with us in case we want to add or change anything along the way. Highly recommended 👌

Book arrived in a perfect condition, The book is hardback and really easy to hold and read, Perfect Guidance on what to expect and do on the Route 500, it became our little friend to carry around. Good Value for Money,

Quest estate abbiamo fatto in van la NC500 e devo dire che non si trovano molte guide in merito, quindi l ho comprata un po’ a scatola chiusa. Devo dire che è stata utilissima e utilizzata fino all ultimo giorno oltre che per la pianificazione del viaggio in sé e per se. Grande sorpresa sono stati i ristoranti consigliati, tutti eccellenti. Consiglio questa guida a chiunque voglia fare questo viaggio. Unica pecca è la rilegatura della guida che “sotto stress” ha un po’ ceduto- ma forse è stata colpa mia per quante volte l ho consultata.

Come guida generale va bene ma alcuni posti (ad esempio locali menzionati )sono da aggiornare. Molto belle le immagini
