Great sound and great price. Perfect for around the pool.

I was at first hesitant to purchase this item, given the recent reviews (which I have later learned were from competitors spam bots.) But, upon the urging of my son, I bought this product for my daughter's outdoor wedding. It was easy to use, very lightweight, and lasted 14+ hours and still had roughly 60% battery. I loved the loud volume that allowed everyone to hear the speeches from the built in PA speaker (via wired microphone) even from the back row. Ignore the negative feedback, this item is a great buy and it's given me yet another reason to wait for football/tailgate season...

I bought this because my friend had one at a wedding I went to recently and despite some negative comments reviews, the unit checks out in person. It was loud, great sound and mid range, with good bass. I also didn't realize it but it has a phone charger as well. Looking forward to busting this out when I go to the lake in Minnesota for my annual fishing competition!

At the time I bought this there were only 3 reviews for this speaker 2 were very negative and one was positive(lauren who went on the fishing trip). After looking at the history of what the 3 reviewers reviewed, the writers of the two negative reviews only wrote negative reviews indicating that their reviews were skewed. They didn't have any reviews of this speaker online, so why did I take a chance with my hard earned money to buy a speaker with one positive review? I have had a UE Mega Boom that broke on me ,a Jbl Xtreme that about two weeks after the warranty ended broke.Then I decided to buy a pretested(ie. second hand) Fugoo Xl speaker.It might not been as loud as the JBl but the loudness was sufficient to easily fill a room or small outdoor gathering and the sound was clean,the speaker life was exceptional and up to this day that speaker works fantastic even after almost 4 years of regular use and beach outings . My Fugoo Xl may not be the sexiest girl at the dance but she sure is sleek and dependable which is more than I can say for the rest of the speakers. I have had the Fugoo Traveler for about a month and I'm quite pleased with it.They are much louder than the Fugoo Xl although I haven't taken them to the beach(the true test of any speaker those waves are loud) ,the music is clean without any distortion even at high volume levels however I do not think they are the loudest speakers in their weight class .The battery life is fantastic one reasons I loved my old Fugoo Xl .The speaker is very light and portable compared to many speakers their size but this is due to plastic they used for the construction of the speaker that some may not love,I'm not sure how the body will hold up to bumps and minor incidents. I wish Fugoo would on their manual when describing the wattage on the speaker would state whether the aforementioned speaker wattage was RMS or Peak values note it is only 80 watts when unplugged and 100 watts when plugged in. I'm quite pleased with my purchase the speaker sounds great,the battery life is excellent and the price is right.

I use this speaker for martial arts competition. It's super easy to pair and the smaller size makes it convenient to pack with my other gear. I was able to turn it up sufficiently to hear over arena noise. My competition is 4 times of 2 minutes so I can't speak to battery life.

I was very disappointed after taking this on a ride. The sound quality is very poor.
