Excellent Ratchet Cutting and Easy to Grip
Cuts through stems like butter! I love ratchet cutters of all types. These are terrific! As a women with aging hands I need garden tools that work. These work! The handles fit my hands and are easy to do continuous cuts. They make clean cuts, no furred eadges on green stems. these cut through dry, dead wood up to 1 inch and through green, live stems up to 1 1/2", because of the ratchet system. The aluminum body cleans and dries quickly. One comment is that the locking mechanism is kind of hard to slide closed: I have to close the the pruners "just right" in order to slide the locking mechanism. Sliding it locked is easy, I just have to get the pruners closed exactly right.

Good pruners, Replacement blades?
I Am happy with the clippers. Works great for heavy duty branch clipping. Apple trees, pine, maple, etc. Works on smaller branches too but I prefer a lighter scissor like pruner for garden plants and flowers. My only complaint is, I damaged the blade trimming near the ground. Sand must have chipped the blade, my fault. My only complaint is, I cannot find replacement blades for this product. If I buy a new pair, it will be a brand that sells new blades.

A solid pruner with a clever twist
I was intrigued by this dual use design and wondered whether it would work out in practice. A bit to my surprise, it does! My only hesitation is that the flipping around of the handle can expose a cutting blade, so one needs to be a bit careful. I am also not certain about how long these pruners will keep their edge, but the price is reasonable, and I won't be disappointed if they only last a few years. The only real weakness I found is that locking mechanism doesn't work very well.

This is my third pair.
I love these cutters. My first pair got mixed up with debris I was burning. You can burn when you live in the country. I bought my second cutter. Months later I found the burned cutters. All the plastic was gone but they still worked fine. After years of use my second cutter just wore out. So this is my third cutter and it is amazing. I have used it to cut tree suckers, smaller limbs, and cut vines for making wreaths. You can’t go wrong with these.

What a perfect gift!
I love to garden and work in the yard...and if you are like me you will love these! My husband bought these for me as a birthday gift. This 2 in 1 multi-cutter pruner & shears fit my hands perfectly. These were ideal for me for cutting branches and stems. They were so easy to use and the non-slip cushion grips were very comfortable. Easy to rotate from pruner to shears. Easy to lock and unlock, which is such a plus with young children. My only complaint is that they are green...if they were a bright color it would have been better as it would not blend in so much when placed on the grass. Otherwise, very happy with my gift and would highly recommend!!!

They work ok, with some caveats
Summary: Just ok. They work, but the quality control is not great, and the company never responded to my inquiry (I gave them three weeks to respond). I did test them, they work but you are trading strength for repetitions. They max out if you try to cut much above 1/2" diameter. My Felco pruners can manage at least 3/4", and up to 1" if you are determined. The quality control issue has to do with the rivet which was not pressed completely. The metal edge is rough and sits proud of the pruners. It catches when moving in and out of my pocket. The beauty of these is they lock shut and can be pocketed, so this kind of ruins that. Ultimately, these would be good if you have very low grip strength but need single handed pruners. If you have decent grip strength, go with Felco.

Just what you need
As a master gardener, I have gone through a lot of sheers and pruners. Most don't last the season. These are soooo much better. The build quality is fabulous. They are strong, tight, and VERY sharp. I will be ordering another set for my wife (also a master gardener) because she won't let me have mine back until she gets her own pair. You need these if you do any gardening at all.

Ease of use
I have problems with strength of hands and wrists. The ratchet does all the work. This is my second one, tools for the front yard, and tools for the backyard.
