Good replacement unit!
Replaced the factory fan with this one when the factory fan died. Factory fan lasted about five years. This one has been in around a year or so (can't remember exactly). Perfect plug-in-play fit. Runs great. Good flow. Very quiet, just like the factory unit. Easy fix to a bad problem... Now if only it could fix all the other issues Samsung built into their products...

Right part at the right cost
Fan on my Samsung refrigerator was not performing as it should, running real slow. The OEM part was extremely expensive and a service call to replace was also extremely costly. So I figured I would try to fix myself. Turns out that surprisingly it was pretty easy to remove and replace and this fan was truly cost effective and fixed our refrigerator issue. I would definitely recommend this to anyone having the issue as we were!

direct replacement
direct replacement for my Samsung refrigerator , the original fan bearings locked up. the only thing when replacing fan, be careful to move the refrigeration line just enough to install the fan

Works great.. a literal food saver in Samsung model RF261BEAxxx
At a fraction of the price for the OEM unit (IF you can even order it from Samsung!) this is at least 1/3 or 1/4 the cost. It works perfectly to replace the OEM unit. In conjunction with YouTube, it took a bit of research to confirm and validate, but if your Samsung 'fridge is one of the RF261BEAxxx models, this is the replacement you need. YouTube was vital, as even Samsung's hard-to-find maintenance docs did not reveal how to replace this fan motor .. a task which is relatively simple .. mostly. The hardest part of replacing the motor was just lying on the floor in cramped position and access, maneuvering around cramped access to pull the failed motor and install this one.
