Perma-Nyl Valley Forge, American Flag, Nylon, 3' x 5', 100% Made in USA, Betsy Ross 13-Star Colonial US Flag, Sewn Stripes, Embroirdered Stars

I helped my neighbor and friend purchase this flag. Normally, I'm not one to buy things for others on my amazon account, but when a friend and neighbor is 80 and wants help to order, I'll help every time. The pole that this flag is a flown on is on the edge of a small lake, so it's exposed to some vicious winds. This lead to some very specific wants.First, the flag had to be nylon. Cotton flags get ripped to shreds almost immediately. Next, the flag had to have grommets. The pole is a full sized flag pole, so while a flag with a pocket for a pole can be rigged, the safest way to attach it was using grommets. Finally, he wanted a Betsy Ross flag. That's the only downfall of this flag. It's close, but not completely accurately styled. The blue section of the flag is not the right shape. It's shaped like a current flag, but should be square.This flag is stitched well, and the stars are embroidered. It's high quality, and, so far, has survived the elements well. I'll update this review as time goes by to let you know how long this flag will last.

Have purchased many times over the years. Sturdy and stays beautiful for long periods. Feel like it represents our love for the principles for the 1st 13 colonies. Eventually with the harsh weather conditions year round, even this flag needs replaced. There are cheaper versions, but we feel like this is worth the investment.

Made in USA. This Betsy Ross Colonial flag is well constructed of nylon, with brass grommets and has 13 beautiful embroidered stars. I'll be very proud to hang this off my house.EDIT: 9/17/2012 - Nearly 1 year later and this flag still looks like new. I've grown to appreciate the flag on the house. Rain or shine, she adds a touch of color and sense of history. An excellent purchase as a new home owner.EDIT: 4/11/2015 - 3.5 years later, I still love this flag. Sadly I have to retire it. While the flag has faded some in the sun, it still flies very well and has kept sense of history on the house. The problem is more the garage light below it, the length of my pole and the length of this flag. I likely should have gotten a 2.5' x 4' flag to go off my 5' house pole. As such the contact with the house and light has thinned the end of the flag and started to create tatters. With that, I'm off to buy my next Valley Forge Flag. And this time my Daughter has requested 50 stars.

This flag is made with great care and looks great on my flag pole on my old house. I highly recommend the quality found in all Valley Forge products.

I bought this for a gift for my husband. The colors are brilliant and the quality is excellent. Very durable. Update, Jan. 11, 2015. This incredible flag has been flying, 24/7 since Christmas 2013. The colors have faded very little and there are some threads hanging. What incredible durability through all kinds of weather. Other flags I have purchased deteriorate and rip in no time. You get what you pay for. If you want a 24/7 flag, this is it! Update. I think this company that made this flag deserves my time. It is Jan 1 2016 and the flag is still outside in great shape! I cannot believe the durability of this item after 3 years. I will definitely buy another one if this one ever wears out. Update: it is Mar. 1, 2016 and I finally replaced it with another just like it. The flag flew for 3 years, 2 months and 5 days. I had to take a picture of it. If I could give it 6 stars I would!!! Update: Today, Nov. 5, 2018 it just ripped. It has been outside, except for high wind, day and night since Mar. 1 2016. Wow, what quality. I wish they made 50 star flags. I just order another one

I was looking for an American-made Betsy Ross flag to replace my tattered standard USA flag. No USA flag should be made anywhere else. This flag is well constructed, is durable (so far), hasn't faded in the sunlight, & the colors are vibrant & bright. I do take it down in higher wind, but & always display it in reasonably calm weather. I bought 2, as it was a very good value for the price. I recommend this flag highly to show one's patriotism, & as a nose-thumb to Nike. I would buy it again,

I purchased this for a friend who is a history buff. When it arrived, I was very impressed with the quality of the product. The fabric is nice and heavy, and the stitching is beautiful. The stars are beautifully sewn. The flag colors are also rich and crisp. It is a very good value for the price. I believe it will last a long time. My friend was really pleased with this flag.

I collect American flags, and yet didn't have a Betsy Ross flag. This flag is more than what I needed as I only plan to fly this one as a banner indoors; however, I would be confident flying it on a pole, or even my car with no problem. It feels strong and well stitched. I'd buy again, but I dont suspect I'll need to.Only complaint is the seams from folding.
