My Polish pal turned me on to this when she made chicken wings they were delicious. I have been using it it’s very versatile and a little goes a long way …definitely steps up any dish chicken, beans, pork etc. has MSG but that not a big deal for most folks!

I always have this around. It lasts a long time in the cabinet, but it's always good to have a spare can. It's salty, flavorful, and super versatile. I use it with just about everything.

I found this product when I was living in Scandinavia. After I found it, I could not live without it. It is a seasoning that can be used in and on absolutely everything. From making homemade chicken soup. To sprinkling on a pasta dish or even a salad. I use it when I cook any meat in my slow cooker. I use it on steaks prior to grilling or broiling them. If I had to find a seasoning that resembles Vegeta, that is a common seasoning used in the U.S., I would say,” chicken bouillon.” But it’s SO SO much more than that. But,it is a chicken based flavored seasoning . Again, and so much more than just that. It has a wonderful taste, regardless of how you use it. Because it is so versatile, I don’t have to have a thousand different spices on hand. Having this and a few other spices, is all I need. I cook 98% of all my families meals at home. They are all “picky” eaters, so most of my cooking is from scratch. Vegeta, is an absolute necessity for me. Because my family is American as well as Swedish and Hungarian, they like a variety of foods. We eat, Hungarian food,( my favorite), Swedish, Polish, Russian, Italian, Chinese, Lebanese, Mediterranean , American and other types of food. For those of us that do so much cooking , especially making a wide variety of foods, you know how you have to have countless spices and seasoning , on hand. If you have Vegeta on hand, you can reduce the number of spices significantly. As far as the value goes for this seasoning, it is a great value for the money. It does not take much, to achieve the taste you want. I use it in most of my cooking and it lasts a longtime. I don’t usually get excited about spices and/or seasoning! But this one is different. It’s just so delicious and versatile . I lived over seas , for over a decade, and was exposed to all kinds of spices and seasonings. The minute I learned what was used to make a particular meal in Hungary, Vegeta, I was hooked. I started using it in my cooking following that delicious meal and have never been disappointed. I love it. So I would encourage everyone to at least try it. I know you will love it!! Obviously, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.!! Give it a try. ,

I bought this as a gag for my boyfriend who loves Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z. He laughed and I promptly took possession of the seasoning. I used some to liven up a tomato cucumber salad and was impressed with the added punch.

I think that any Eastern European country has its own version of this. It is one of the most traditional spice mixes from Europe. It is a very special thing for me, since this brings the flavors of my grandma's and mom's cooking to any dish I make. Just remember that this is salt with veggies, and be careful with adding other salts to your food. Taste every step of the cooking process. Aromatic, salty, and delicious!! Great on meats, but it is just amazing in soups. Very similar to the stock cubes that Knorr makes.

A fragrant blend of spices but not spicy. I use in soups and stews.
