A well fitting jacket.
This has been on the market a few years , but it is a good jacket. This is a heavy weighted jacket, has padding or armor in the elbows, shoulders, and a light weight in the back. I found this jacket to fit to my size without the need to buy big as with other cycle jackets. All the zippers and snaps work well, so far. I took the lining out for the warm weather and, with the venting abilities presented, was just fine up to about 85 degrees F. In the cooler weather , and the lining back in, I have been out with air temperature down to 35 degrees F. and remained warm. I have not done full on rain yet, but light rain was not an issue, I remained dry. I do ride a full size touring bike ,so to be fair, I already had some protection from the elements. Ok, half a year and so far I am happy with this jacket. I do not find it restrictive for movement and pocket storage in this thing is great.

Amazing jacket, almost perfect.
OMG, what a value for a great ADV jacket. I have over 4000 miles riding my adv motorcycle in snow, rain, sleet and hot weather, 90F plus temp. I have never been wet or thought I was going to pass out from overheating. It is a little heavy, mostly due to the liners. The air flow through the jacket is pretty darn good, would be a little better if the arm zippers were slightly longer. I would like to see the phone pockets moved closer to the zipper by at least an inch. It has the "American" cut (a little more room in the waist area. Good for me as I have a few pounds. The pocket is large enough you can store the liners in the pocket. This is one heck of a great jacket in this price category.

Good coat for the price point
I was looking for a decent ADV style jacket, and this one fits most of my needs very well at price point that is less than 1/2 of the leading brands. I've owned Tourmaster mesh jackets and overpants for years, and never have had an issue with quality. Sizing: I'm 6'4" 250lb, 52" chest, 38 waist. I used the sizing chart to order A XXXL Tall jacket, which fits perfectly. the midsection of the jacket is a bit big, but velcro straps cinch it in. Ventilation: I just took it on a 2.5hr ride with temperatures varying from 78-85 degrees. with all of the vents open, and the collar snapped open, it provided decent ventilation, though the upper end of that temperature spectrum would probably be the comfort limit. I ride a BMW 1200 RT which doesn't have a lot of airflow due to the excellent fairing, but as long as I was moving, I was still tolerably cool. Linings: This is the only shortcoming. I compromised on price in exchange for a waterproof liner instead of a waterproof shell on this jacket. I've found the waterproof lining in my other mesh jacket was adequate in the past for light rain. I'm not sure how much I'm going to enjoy this decision in the long term. I would take a star off for this feature, but I knew how it would be before I ordered it. I'll probably never wear the insulated lining. I typically wear a thin Patagonia sweater, which has always been enough with my mesh jacket, even down into the high 30s. Zippers and openings: I don't think its possible to open and close most of the vents while wearing the jacket on a bike, the arm vent zippers have tiny pulls, The back vent is large and unreachable without removing the coat. Pockets: Two large pockets on the front of the coat are velcro closed and feel very secure, in fact they aren't even very easy to open. Armor: The shoulder and elbow armor is placed perfectly, straps on the arms help secure the elbow armor in place. back armor: none: just comes with a foam filler pad, throw that our immediately and just buy one of these at a minimum. They fit the coat perfectly: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083HNB8LP?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details The coat does come with a zipper to connect riding pants to. Inexplicable features: a D-ring on the bottom left side (do people ski in these?) a large pocket on the bottom of the rear of the coat- how and why would you use this? Update 7/30/23- I tried zipping this coat into a pair of riding pants and noted that they had installed the zipper wrong. On all of my jackets, the zipper pull is located on the jacket, on the coat, it configured as if the zipper pull would go on the pants… it’s sewn in upside down. -1 star.

Husband approved
My husband loved it. Has added more weeks to his riding season. He's a fluffy guy, so finding good quality product that has such flexibility for fit & comfort is a plus!

Better than KLIM but super heavy and sized small .
Epic piece of Kit and super technical . Half the price of the competitors and just if not better quality ! Extremely heavy and sizing is smaller than you'd think . Weight and sizing is why I returned it .

Try before you buy
It should come as no surprise that this jacket, that is supposed to be a jack of all trades, is a master of none. A lot of jackets in this category are $500-$1500. $209 for the Trek, seems too good to be true and it is. There are three layers. The outer layer, the second layer which is a water resistant windbreaker and the inner layer for added warmth. I am 6’1” tall and weigh 203 pounds. According to the size chart which advises people to order exact, I should wear a size large. With all three layers on the jacket, it barely zips up because it’s so tight and leaves no ability to move my arms. Behind the shoulders, there’s no stretch panels, which makes it that difficult to rotate your arms, lean towards your handlebars and move comfortably. Once you start removing layers, the jacket becomes so loose that you don’t feel safe in the event of a fall. The six points of adjustment are not helpful. Four straps to the arms and one on each side below the rib cage. The bottom of the jacket is very large. Whether you are thin, average build or slightly overweight, this will give you the appearance of a beer belly with no lower adjustment straps. I’ve worn jackets like this before through moderate weather conditions that include rain and slush. That balloon opening at the bottom of the jacket, always allows water to crawl up your crotch, regardless of what the vendor wants you to believe. All in all, if you need a 2.5–3 season jacket, your budget is virtually nothing and you don’t mind many compromises, this jacket might be for you.

Well made
Good product true to size seems to be made well in comparison to jackets double the price. A bit Heavy with all the liners combined. Plenty of protection.
