I started using this years ago after i saw Dr. Oz on Good Morning America talking about natural remedies to help with fibromyalgia (which I suffer from severely) He specifically named the Doctor's Best brand, and in powder form, as your body absorbs it better and much faster than in a pill form. I add it to my coffee in the morning and sometime mid-day to keep my energy levels up in something like tea, crystal light, whatever. I was absolutely shocked when I first started using it! My energy levels were increased more than I can possibly explain! The energy is so different from caffeine, you never get a crash, it just gives you a natural energy boost that's unlike anything I've tried (and I've tried EVERYTHING) The taste is great, not strong at all, but it's a little sweet. Almost a slight butterscotch or vanilla taste, not chemically at all. At first I had to work my way up to the recommended two scoops a day (the scoops are tiny) because it actually gave me too much energy! It not only helps with the constant fatigue from fibromyalgia, it also helps my muscles ache a lot less. I used it for a couple of years, ran out and just kind of forgot to order it again. You stop noticing how much it does for you after a while. Within a week all of my fatigue and muscle aches were at it's highest. I had no idea it was doing that much for me until I stopped using it! I Immediately ordered more, and I will never let myself run out again! I can't attest how it would work for other uses (I believe it's used with a lot of weight trainers/ body builders), but if you have fibro you MUST have this in your daily diet. It's by far the best product I've tried over the past 10 years to try to help ease the symptoms of fibromyalgia. I feel like it's given me back a part of me that fibro took away. I can't say enough about it. Thank you Doctor's Best for literally changing my life (and Dr. Oz for recommending it...I never would have found it otherwise!)

Don’t hesitate, get this now! I have CFS and idiopathic hypersomnia so I’ve tried it all. I have not had to take my stimulant medication in 3 weeks. This is absolutely unheard of for me. I am shocked in the best way possible. I put a scoop in my morning coffee and then again in my afternoon coffee or tea. It doesn’t change the taste of either and dissolves right away. There is no jitteriness or jolt of energy, it just lifts the heavy dark cloud off of me. I did try Bill supplements brand since I take their taurine and it is cheaper, however, it didn’t seem to work as well as this brand for some reason. I will be a customer for life, I’m finally feeling like a normal person!

I have Fibromyagia Syndrome/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and for the past year have been exhausted more than usual. I'm in my early 50's and think it may have something to do with going thru menopause. I saw an episode of Dr Oz and he talked about using D-Ribose for FMS/CFS, so I thought I'd give it a try. I read up online a bit first before I placed my order to see which type I should purchase so I wouldn't waste my money. The research stated that they used a brand called Corvalen, but it was really expensive, so I read the reviews for Doctor's Best and decided to take a chance on this one. The first couple of days, I noticed a little more energy, but the next days and the next week, WOW. It really make me think a lot more clearly and I was functioning a lot better in my thinking and response time when I was gaming (I'm a die-hard COD player. Yeah, I'm over 50 and I'm a gamer, laugh all you want ...but it takes my mind off of my pain and helps to relieve stress). My scores went up significantly. I was also able to start my Yoga again, which I haven't had the energy to do for months now and I wasn't tired afterwards, I actually felt better and had more energy. These past 2 days now though, it doesn't seem to be working as well. I'm still taking the same dosage (5 grams, 3 x a day added to a small amount of grape juice or yogurt), the same way I have always taken it. The mental clarity and response time seems to have gone back to the way it was before even though I've not changed anything. Wondering if it could be related either to my cycle or maybe my FMS/CFS flaring up. If anyone knows why this happens, please let me know. I've been tempted to use more than suggested, as I have heard some people say they do (only side effect seems to be the 'jitters'), but it's too expensive to go thru that much. It does seem to work (most of the time), but it's really expensive and people who are ill and need this (such as myself) are probably already strapped by all the meds and equipment they are already paying for. It would be nice if these supplements that are suggested to us for better health would come at an affordable price since they are advertised as something that we need to function 'normally'. Also, if this is a 'maintenance' supplement, it would be nice to be able to buy it in a larger container at a lower cost like a lot of other companies sell their product. This container doesn't even contain enough for a months supply and it should (it contains 50 scoops, suggested at 2 scoops a day = 25 days).

I started taking this at my massage therapist's recommendation. Normally, things that work for me show the benefit pretty quick (a matter of days). So when I hadn't noticed any appreciable improvement to my daily stamina, I assumed it wasn't going to work for me. Kept taking it though, and a few days later realized I still had energy when I got home from work. My thoughts were clear, I didn't need to take a nap, and my sleep patterns appeared to improve. I chose this brand/volume because of its good ranking, and it had a good value (ratio of cost to volume compared to others). I was concerned with the bad taste some reviewers reported, so I 'hide' it in a mixture of grapefruit juice and water. I don't find a bad taste with that mix, and I'm pretty sensitive to these things...after chemotherapy years ago, many former nice things weren't so appealing due to a chemical aftertaste. I take 5g in the morning with breakfast, then sip on a 5g mix that I take to work in a sealed cup. Keeps me going even though I'm on my feet all day. Then I come home with enough mental/physical energy left to act like a real human being for a few hours before bedtime. I will do my best to follow up in a month or two to report any further changes/improvement. ====== OK, it's been over a month, and I'm still pleased with this product. It took about two weeks for it to be effective for me. I now have it on subscription purchase.

I use this for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and I really do love this product. It's high quality and manufactured by a very legit lab that has done studies. It has been shown to be helpful for Fibromyalgia as well with energy. This product has a few different distributors with different "brands," but the "Bioenergy Ribose" is what you should look for. The studies that have been done show it is also helpful for heart disease and is a safe type of sugar for diabetics. Those with many chronic illnesses struggle with mitochondrial dysfunction and cellular energy. This product helps with that because it supplies the body with the form of sugar/energy that your cells should normally be able to convert from the food you eat but can't. The first time I took it, I was completely bed bound and struggling. I woke up the next morning and felt so great that I took a 15 minute walk at 5:00 in the morning (which I hadn't been able to do in years and probably shouldn't have done). If you do feel more energy, be careful not to overdo it, though. I don't get that same HUGE effect anymore, but it still does help by supporting the cells with energy. For some people, they notice a huge difference when they stop taking it. It certainly doesn't hurt to try it! If you are struggling with any sort of illness that drastically reduces your energy, I recommend trying it.

I just started using Doctor's Best products and I am very happy with the quality. I was told to take this product as well as CoQ10 (which I also get from Doctor's Best) to help with my chronic fatigue. I have to say, I believe I have found the miracle combination to help my fatigue. I am feeling like my old self again. I have also shared this information with my friends who seem to have the same problems and again, they are feeling much more energized as well. Best part of these products it that they have no side effects. No jitters, no short temper and no nausea like other products I have taken in the past. If there is anyone out there who is just feeling lethargic and wants to nap all the time, you may want to try D-Ribose. It comes with its own little scoop. I put in my coffee, hot and cold tea 3 times daily. It acts as a natural sweetener. It dissolves immediately and leaves no taste or film behind.

I have used this product for years and liked it. The last two orders had rock hard clumps that were impossible to break up. Pretty much useless. Too bad, I have to try and find a replacement. I DECIDED TO GIVE IT ONE MORE CHANCE. THE PRODUCT WAS ONE HARD BRICK. I COULD NOT EVEN DENT IT POUNDING AWAY WITH A SPOON. I HAD TO GO TO THE GARAGE AND GET A HAMMER AND CHISEL. I ENDED UP THROWING THE PRODUCT AWAY. DO NOT BUY THE PRODUCT. Worst customer service I have ever had. I thought Dr's Best was quality but changed that opinion. Sent a clear message describing the total brick of ribose problem. They asked for lots of images of labels and product. Brick of ribose doesn't show up well in a picture. Provided everything they wanted and communicated several times. The end result they wouldn't do anything since I bought on amazon (well then don't sell there). Final response from their Quality Control "if I don't think the product is safe don't use it." Well, that is a pretty safe bet since I can't use it because it is an impenetrable brick. I suggested they review the MANY negative reviews on amazon for this product.

Great product but not for younger children. To big for my 8 year old granddaughter but she’s keeping for when she’s older
