Cajun Peanuts

True Cajun taste. My Louisiana Lady loves them

I regret sharing these with my coworkers because I was left with less than half of the container to eat. I wish they came in a bigger size because it is so hard to stop eating these!

This is a quality product. Nut quality is good. Really like the sea salt. Price is ok.

The peanuts are great. Fresh, big, crunchy but the Old Bay seasoning doesn't provide much flavor IMO. I will definitely buy these peanuts again, just not this seasoning. They are not cheap btw.

First, I LOVE the original Cajun smoked peanuts, which this product replaced in about December last year. Most of the reviews of this current product are, in fact, reviews of the previous, superior product. Don’t get me wrong; these are okay, but they are much saltier and less flavorful than the original Cajun smoked peanuts. The company also raised the price from $9.99 a can last November to an incredible $18 a can early in 2020. As of this writing, they have reduced the price to $15, which is still outrageous for a can of less-than-ideal peanuts. I’m in a bit of a pickle because, as I say, these are okay, but just okay, and at these prices I will be looking for an alternative soon. If the company reads these reviews, PLEASE bring back the old recipe!

I like peanuts, peanut butter, Reese's, and most things associated with peanuts. I found this can on Amazon, These peanuts are spicy, but not all that hot. Over time the heat builds, but it's a mild, warming heat more than a scorched desert heat. There is so much spice that my fingers end up covered with spice dust just like when I ate cheese puffs as a kid. The peanuts themselves taste fresh, have a nice crunch to them, and when you can taste them, have a nice flavor. I do think I would like them better with less spice. I've coughed more than a few times with the spice dust went down the wrong pipe, and while I like them, they have been relegated to a sometimes treat instead of the plain peanuts I eat more regularly. Zatarain's is a company I'm not overly familiar with as I live in the Pacific Northwest, but I think they make cajun foods. I'm not sure if this is supposed to taste cajun, but I enjoyed them. 5/5*
