Waited a few weeks of wearing the robe to write a review beyond first impressions. I’m not one to buy clothing online, but couldn’t find anything satisfactory in a brick and mortar store. Nothing came below my knees. So despite my hesitation, but relying on the vast great reviews, I ordered this product. The black robe to be exact. I wanted a robe, that lengthwise, went somewhere below my knees and above my ankles. I also wanted something soft, warm, comfortable fitting, and easy to care for, yet durable. My main use was twofold; to keep me warm enough in the few minutes it took to take my dogs outside to do their business in the middle of winter at 3am at 25-50° in the mountains I live in; and to keep me warm in the cold mornings inside my house. I’m 5’11” and around 167 lbs. and in my later middle age years. The robe met annd surpassed all my expectations and lived up to the hype in the reviews. I also took the advice of other reviewers and wash my robe on delicate cycle, using a mild laundry soap (not harsh detergent), then use the lowest delicate heat cycle. Also it’s apparently important, if you are hanging your robe on a hook, to use the built-in inside collar loop to hang your robe from, and not hang it by the hood itself (if you want to reduce possible separation of hood from rest of robe). It has held up great under a few washings. I couldn’t be happier with the product and highly recommend. Two side effects I’ve experienced while wearing the robe is the euphoria of feeling like Obi-Wan Kenob from Star Wars; and secondly unexpectedly scaring my little dogs when I lifted the hood over my head, my one and only time. However, I soon discovered I am able to use the hood as a mini adjustable pillow on my recliner when relaxing backwards. In summary, it’s like wearing a customized cozy blanket wrapping your body in all the right places, swaddling you in complete warmth and comfort.

This was a Christmas gift for my Husband and it was his favorite! Not only is it soft inside and out and the color is a nice and true to the picture , he like the pockets and hood and is true to size with a little more to it I feel, quality is good too!, is not too thick, like a blanket so that’s good too , and is pretty long… he’s 5’10 and it’s down to mid shins.

This robe is super soft and oversized. Fits true to size. The colors aren't what I expected but still looks good so my teenager isn't bothered and loves wearing it

My hubby is about 6'5" and absolutely loves his new robe. It's so soft & comfy. He really likes the length & the hood. And the price was definitely worth it.
