TruClose Regular hinges for fences and gates are adjustable, self-closing, and come in a variety of colors to match your material of choice or your existing backyard fence. The quick and easy tension adjustment can be used to adjust your hinges to the gate weight and the closing speed. Simply use a large screwdriver at either end of the hinge barrel. I sent an email into D&D Technologies looking for support for one of their older self closing gate hinges. To be sure of the best response they requested some additional information from me. I sent back some photo's and other information and they were very responsive to let me know that this specific hinge is no longer made but provided a replacement model and three companies that I could purchase it. I ordered the recommended hinges, and received them two days later. I made thee replacement and all is well. This was a delightful support and purchase experience.

feel bad leaving a bad review because I didn't even try them, but after ordering, I went to the locksmith about another issue and he said these types always slam the gate shut and ruin the new lock I was about to install... he also made a funny joke that the "no-slam-hinges are especially efficient at slamming gates closed."

The last set of D&D Hinges lasted 17 years and made it through several hurricanes. These hinges are a quality product and are easy to install.
