CYSKY Single Speed Crankset E-Bike Crank 170mm 130 BCD 48T/53T/56T/58T/60T Square Taper Bike Crankset for Folding e-Bike Fixed Gear Track Road Bike

I have an AddMotor 500 watt Ebike and it cruises at 25mph which is too fast for me to keep up with using the stock 40 tooth front chain sprocket. I wanted a slower cadence so I went with the biggest front sprocket I could find. This one is perfect, my cadence is about 60 RPM now so I can comfortably pedal at 25 mph and add assistance to the motor. I used a wheel puller to remove the old crank set and this one bolted right on. I see other reviews stating this is weak, I do not see any weakness or straightness issues at all. Although this crank set is lighter than the stock I have not had any issues in 60 miles. My riding is fast cruising on bicycle trails. I have yet to extend the chain but have the parts on order to do so and then I will try gear changing. Right now I leave it in top gear and let the motor do most of the work accelerating up to speed, it doesn’t take long. The price was unbeatable for testing out a theory and it exceeded my expectations, it is a beautiful piece of workmanship as well. My 66 year old knees are a lot happier now and I am getting a good workout while feeling like Superman ( even though I’m definitely not)as I pass everyone on the trail.

Perfect for ebike that went faster than I could peddle. This help quite a bit.

I have a Heybike folding eBike that I bought on Amazon, it came with a 48T chainring/crank. This was fine at lower speeds, but once you get above 15MPH you were basically pedaling like a cartoon character. I upgraded to a 56T CYSKY crankset and am now able to pedal the ebike even when it gets over 20mph. Didn't have to replace the chain, I had just enough chain to still have some slack even in the first gear. If you have a similar ebike I would recommend getting this upgrade.

This is my second round with this chain ring. It's the same size as a dinner plate. It's very strong. These cranks are 7075t6 grade aircraft aluminum, so there pretty strong, and very light. If you end up bending your chain ring, chances are your bottom bracket it's self is bent. I've put over 12,000 miles on this crank with no problem in the past year. There better for cadence, to keep your rpm down, while getting the same speed on less watts, I can pump out over 850 watts on this ring with no problem in performance, so if your looking for a track crank, and not wanting to spend 150 to 400 bucks, this is the crank for you. Now on opening the box, I noticed 2 teeth had some flat tip damage, which is fine, it just the tip, filed down the sides, and it's good. As cheap 60tooth cranks go, your not gonna find one any better.

After about 100 miles of use the cranks started to fall off. I tightened them to spec again suspecting they weren't tight enough. After about 10 more miles they started to get loose again. When I inspected them closer I found that the metal used for their construction was so soft that there were indentations from the bottom bracket, allowing for movement, vibrations, and the inevitable falling off of cranks. Of course this occurred just after the 30 days I had to return it. Please don't buy these. Update: In denial of the obvious, I have tried many other things to get these cranks to function. I even bought them again to test some theories. Theories that also resulted in failure, but I was able to return them before the end of the 30 days. I tried greasing, not greasing, blue Loctite, new crank bolts, and was even able to test them with a new bottom bracket. All resulting in failure. Please don't buy these for any reason, except for maybe a low torque application on a kids bike for the "aesthetic."
