This butter masala paste is a total game-changer! It brings that authentic dhaba-style flavor right into your kitchen. I used it to make butter chicken and later tried it with paneer – both turned out creamy, rich, and delicious.

Super oily, tastes like severely overcooked food. I felt it more clearly after finishing 10 packets, it is only ok, not as great as initially we felt. At first we loved it so much, that I bought 20 packets durung sale, but after finishing half of them, it became hard to love it anymore- it has that overcooked onions/food feel, not very healthy, not to mention huge oil amount and plasticide. I found that this "preservatives free" method heats the food to very high temperature inside these plastic pouches to sterilize it, so you basically have food boiled and stored in PET plastic(inner pouch lining). I would be happy if this is packed in glass bottles and with less oil, occasionally family still asking for it when there is no time to cook matar paneer from scratch. It's not healthy for regular consumption.

I love Indian food but no good restaurants close by. I'd been using the Maya Kaimal jarred sauces and they were okay, but I quit buying them after trying this product. I put mix it with some coconut cream and put it in the crockpot with some chicken and a few hours later dinner is served. Easy and quite delicious. We have this every couple of weeks.

This is very good! Nice rich flavor. Spicy as it should be. I served it with mushroom jasmine rice and peas and carrots. Very, very tasty. I will note that I did add just a few tablespoons of milk to mellow it down. I will definitely be buying it again as we love Indian food and this is as good as from scratch and much less time consuming.

These CurryIt bases are great for a quick Indian style meal. Be warned, the "medium" spice level is still pretty spicy. You could probably tone it down with some yogurt. But why do that? The sweat is half the experience!

Didn't make it taste like butter chicken. Just a big brown glob of salt. All it did was add salt.
