Nice and sturdy not cheaply made seems really durable and wouldn’t worry if I drop it. I love that it charges with the case on. Looks spiffy. Price was good and doesn’t get scratched, fits perfectly.

Wow, these things have evolved since my old silicon case. This case surpassed all expectations. I love how the lid is held on with an adhesive pad, and the extra magnets work great. Everything has a snug fit, and is lightweight, and seems strong enough to handle a drop from any height. You can tell alot of time went into the design. It even comes with a cleaning tool. Great product!

As a fair warning, I have only owned this case for a few days now. Also, before I talk about the pros and cons of this ESR Airpods Pro/Pro 2 case, let me introduce the flaws of my old case and why I switched. About my old case: So, the case that I used to use for my Airpods Pro 2 were a faux carbon fiber-design, two tone case with a safety latch design, with opposing magnets that pop open when you release the latch. It was a brilliant and convenient design that was also great for fidgeting with. I feel that I should also mention that this case, though nice, was not compatible with either the Apple Watch or iPhone MagSafe chargers. Anyways, this latch mechanism worked great for a period of about 8 to 10 months. However, after a while of owning the case, I think one of two (or both) things started to happen: the plastic on the latch piece began to wear down slightly, and/or the tensioning mechanism for the latch started to give a little bit. Either way, after a certain duration of ownership, the case began to be a lot more keen on popping open, even when brushing lightly against another object or at times where I didn't intend to open the case (for reference, I would clip this old case onto the outside of a handbag). It got to a point where it swung open inadvertently and unnoticed while loading a car to go to the airport, and I almost lost my left AirPod had I not had an amazing and available neighbor to scrounge my yard and driveway until it was found. As if that wasn't bad enough, not long afterwards, I was riding my electric scooter on paved sidewalk when I hit a stiff bump in the road. I continued onwards to my destination to discover that the top part of the case had flown off entirely. That was when I decided to look for a new case. Which brings me to the ESR AirPods Pro/Pro 2 Case. This case is brilliant for a few reasons. *Pros:* Firstly, the top part of the case comes with a small, light adhesive underneath a little plastic flap which you can remove to adhere the top case to the top part of the original Airpods Pro case. This is a brilliant addition and I anticipate that it will help avoid an incident like my electric scooter debacle. The case comes with four magnets on the back which will help it attach perfectly over an iPhone (NOT an Apple Watch) MagSafe charger. And I verified that it does charge the case. This is definitely a nifty feature to have. Instead of a latch with opposing magnets on the top and bottom case, the left and right lips of both the top and bottom cases have attracted magnets which help keep the case tightly closed. This is quite nice and gives me a good amount of confidence that the case will not open during drops. *Cons:* The first and largest gripe that I have with this case is that the product image is not true to the product color. This product is not so much a cooler cypress green as it is a dark army green color. This was the largest disappointment for me. A small nitpick that I have as well is that it takes more force to open the case now, which while good for security, can cause (I anticipate) issues such as knocking the AirPods out of the case with a thumb knuckle when you open it with your thumb in a prying motion. -- To conclude, if you have experienced some of the same problems with previous case designs as I detailed, I think you will be very happy with this case. The form factor and MagSafe charging feature are very nice, and I trust that this case will be durable enough to last you a long time. On the flip side, if you have a keen eye for aesthetics and were captivated by the colors on the product page, at least for the green version of this case, you may be pleasantly or unpleasantly surprised depending on whether you prefer cypress greens or more of an army/warm shade of forest green. La funda tiene un diseño elegante y minimalista, y se ajusta perfectamente a los AirPods Pro (probado con la 2ª generación). El acabado rígido da una buena sensación de protección y ayuda a prevenir golpes o arañazos en el estuche original. Además, es compatible con carga MagSafe, lo cual es muy cómodo. La tapa magnética funciona bien al principio, pero con el uso puede aflojarse ligeramente y no cerrar con tanta firmeza, sobre todo si abres y cierras los AirPods con frecuencia. No llega a salirse, pero es algo a tener en cuenta. En general, es una funda funcional y resistente, ideal si buscas una opción con buen diseño y compatibilidad con carga inalámbrica. Solo vigila el cierre con el tiempo.
