Great tool to have. Helps 100% better burn with air assist. I kinda thought the air would be stronger. But it's enough to do what it need to do. I haven't complained yet...lol it does get warm after being on for awhile on longer burns. That kinda concerns me about the life of it. But sofar. I haven't had trouble with it. I do keep it turned up all the way most of the time. Not sure if that's good or not. But on lower setting just dont seem to be much air at all to blow the burnt stuff out of the way to get a clean burn. It's my first air assist. And I'll use.it till it cant turn on anymore. And yes I'll probably get another one afterwards...lol it is really quiet though. Plenty of air line to connect to laser with. Actually more then enough. And very easy to set up. I'm happy with what it does.

The Atomstack air assist really helps when cutting 1/8 inch birch boards. You get a much cleaner cut with less side burn. I have had some issues with clogging at the end at the diode (expected) and at the output (not expected). I do believe that it helps keep the diode cleaner.Price seems high compared to the cost of a complete engraver.

I purchased this to go with my Atomstack S10 Pro engraver. Initially, I didn't have it. The egraver works fine but you can see smoke stains on the wood and a bit darker burning from the laser. I then used a fan blowing down at an angle on the work piece. I saw a pretty good improvement. So, when the air assist went on sale I decide to buy it because it would be better for my workstation and work flow than the fan. Well, the air assist really does make a difference. Even better than the fan. I am happy with it. Just one note. When you replace the glass laser shield, there is a U cut out of it to accomodate the air hose. This weakens the glass, be sure not to over tighten the screw that holds it in place. You will break the glass, i did. Not a design problem, just myself not being careful.

The pieces come in excellent packaging, I am in the lower frame assembling stage,(stage 1-2) completed. Everything fits so well like a clock. Is difficult to assemble, you need to use common sense, the instructions, and more thinking in order the base and pieces fits perfectly. I believe I will finish tomorrow to assemble it completely (around 24 hours or more). The box is made of aluminum, the front viewing pieces are made of plastic, which I like so much and if everything goes smoothly I will love it. All parts comes well packaged, and numbered so well. If you’re patient and assemble something like this before, I highly recommend it for your machine. I will update the review after finishing and take pictures of the assemble process.

Air assist pump do you have a laser engraver I purchase this for my laser engraver to help with the temperature and the smoke smell this help reduce it and now I get a clean cut and and nice engrave it was very easy to install And a great price I have been very pleased

The media could not be loaded.  This was a fantastic addition to my laser cutter! It keeps the cuts and engravings clean, and it's nice not to have as many burn marks on my engravings. It's a little noisy, but it's well worth it most of the time. So it keeps the laser engraver last longer. This is definitely something you would want to invest in if you do it alot. Highly recommended

Although I’d really rather have the ability to control through software, this unit works well as a manual controlled one. I’ve tested with it off, as well as on (at various pressures) and can say that an air assist DOES make a huge difference with everything I do on my machine. Only issue I had, the protective lens that I needed for my specific machine was not in the kit (was supposed to be), they included every possible lens for many others. I contacted Atomstack immediately and after a few emails and a couple of days, I have a new one coming now.

I got my laser engraver/cutter to use in my leathercraft, mostly for making hat patches, key fobs, and some watch straps. Making several of the same item is easier with the laser, unfortunately the soot and smoke can ruin a project. The Atomstack air assist pump solved those issues. I was able to make cleaner cuts and engravings in the leather. I was also able to cut the 3-4oz leather in two passes instead of four. The variable airflow rate let me use less air pressure for engraving and turn up the pressure for the cutting process. I'm changing my files now so I can cut eight hat patches at a time, now I just need to make the process more efficient to sew them on the hats.

Cette pompe à air fait bien l'affaire, mais je la trouve un peu bruyante pour sa grosseur. Elle devient chaude aussi rapidement, alors j'espère qu'elle durera quand même assez longtemps.EDIT: commandé le 25 janvier2023, 26 mai 2023,il ne fonctionne plus.
