I purchased this for my 1989 ezgo golf cart I haven’t had time yet to install, looks like I will need to do some cutting around where old one is but it should be easy to do. I purchased it mainly to keep debris out and safety so no metal objects accidentally touch the charging posts

And works as it should for the fourth year already. I use it to connect my 80LB thrust trolling motor on my boat.

I thought I ordered a longer body connecter but realized I did not. I found a car shop to help crip on connections. Everything works fine.

To those that have had issues with fitment to other SB-50 plugs, yes, there's more than one kind of SB-50 plug. I ran into this issue several years ago. There are *Ribs* and other gussets etc. on some that are not on others that hinder the fit between the two types of the same plug. Can they mated, yes as some have found out with a little alteration, they will fit and work. Not everyone has Dremel tools hanging around but, that's about the best tool that can be used for removing obstacles that prevent proper fitment. Not a big deal. We'd all rather have something that works right out of the box, no doubt about it. But often, when purchasing items from different sources, things can get goofed up or you don't quite get the same article.

I had to reduce the center and sides with the dremel in order to fit the Anderson Red Connector. This cheap product is out of Tolerance. I would not buy them again

It didn't fit the plug that i had. I unscrewed and removed the gray connector and replaced it with another connector that I already had.
