Made a knee ascender with this and a foot loop. It works well and seems high quality.

For the price im happy works as advertised .. im 190lbs no problems using it im also 64 years old and it was very easy to use ... if I was younger I would invest in the more expensive gear like a zig zag .. ill never wear this out in my lifetime. Note ... if I do ill come back and update the review. F Photo show me using the ascender. With a harness and a foot ascender and 2 pullys at my age I dont have the arm strength to pull myself up without the pullys. I strongly recommend a hand ascender too ... I dont have one yet but I have ordered one

I'm using this to hoist equipment, not as a safety or ascending device. I like that it can lock open to allow the rope to be inserted from the side as opposed to having to feed the end in. Because of this feature I was concerned that the rope would also be able to come free if horizontal force was applied to the rope, but this is not the case. It also has a stop position that doesn't allow it to open all the way unless you disengage it. Very good price!

Von der optischen Verarbeitung ist die Bruststeigklemmer soweit in Ordnung. Materialstärke super und wenn die Funktion Aufstieg mit der Bruststeigklemme ausgeführt wird, läuft alles eigentlich prima. Gleitet gut durch, greift gut im Seil. NUR, wenn man die Bruststeigklemme aus dem Seil nehmen möchte, verbeißt sich am beginn des Klemmbocks von oben gesehen in das Seil so, dass es beim entnehmen die einzelnen Fäden aus dem Seil zieht! Das ist echt suboptimal und bei allen anderen Geräten, die mit ähnlichen Klemmböcken arbeiten (ASCENSION, ASAP-Lock, Micro-Traxion udgl.) mir bisher noch nicht passiert. Ich vermute, dass die Dornen im Klemmbock in der Spitze leicht verbogen sind. Ob gewollt ab Werk oder ein Fehler ist mir eigentlich egal. Return-to-sender! Ich hab mir für nicht viel mehr nun ein Petzl Croll S nachgeordert.
