Other reviews are right that it's not where your head is when sitting up, but Herman Miller is right that you shouldn't be using a headrest for that. This works for what I needed: supporting my head when reclining. I'm sure others are nicer, but for half the price of those, this one works for me.

So for half the price of the true headrest, its a fair deal. The connection is good and does not come loose so you won't have the headrest falling off. The height adjustment works, as does the tilt. Time will tell if the tilt tensioner will hold up but as of now it holds great. My biggest issue is with the mesh, i don't care its not the same pattern or design of the actual chair, the color and over-all design match good enough. BUT the tightness or lack their of, is the problem. The netting is meant to be pulled tightly enough to support the weight of your head while having some give. Resting your head on this headrest causes it to sink in a couple inches, its just not pulled tightly enough in my opinion. Will add photos shortly

seems well made, but like some of the other reviewers noted, there's no way to adjust it to extend further into the chair, to get closer to your neck. before i ordered it, i didn't think that would be a big deal, but yeah, it is. it's fine if you just want to occasionally lean your head back and stare up at the ceiling, but for anyone who wants to rest their head against it (or come close to it) while working at the computer, it's not going to cut it. i considered getting a head rest cushion to extend it further in, but that's more $, and i think a hundred bucks for this is already kind of a stretch for what it's worth.

The product was so easy to attach to the chair. Color, material and design exactly fits the chair. Once installed, one would think it's part of the original chair.

Unless you lean back in the chair the design does not support or reach your neck. In short - it does not work. Just to clarify, the neck rest does move vertically and does rotate at a 180-degree angle but does not move horizontally to meet the neck.

Does not come far enough forward for my taste. Returning and getting another product that offers front/back adjustment. Otherwise, good quality.

Easy to install with only two screws. Fits in with the Herman Miller look & Ergonomics.

Es un buen accesorio -No Original- pero funcional hasta cierto punto. Es comodo y parece original, se ve como parte de la silla, salvo su color, que un ojo acostumbrado a ver las Aeron sabrían que no es el color de la silla. El muelle del reposa cabezas no se aprieta para que no se mueva, se sigue moviendo a pesar de estar ajustado. Y por otro lado tiene un ajuste de altura que se bloquea con un tornillo, pero para llegar a ese tornillo debes quitar otros dos tornillos para removerlo de la silla y remover esa pieza de metal que tapa el tornillo de ajuste de altura. Nada bien pensado. En resumen no tiene lo que a mi parecer amerita tener 5 estrellas, pero tampoco le quito mas porque los detalles que yo veo, no afectan su estética general, solo ligeramente su funcionamiento.

Set it to the desired position in the beggining and it was fine for a few months. Even though I haven't changed the position since the beggining, it is now unable to hold the headrest position no matter how tight you set it, so it is useless now.

Very sturdy and easy to install, and it provides the comfort that I need when I lean back. I've been using this 8-10 hrs daily for past 2 months and haven't encountered any problems. I do agree with the comments that the headrest cannot be adjusted horizontally, but also don't get why you need that feature. You don't need that feature - you need better posture.
