Extremely bright and great features
I searched for months and tried about 15 lights from various manufacturers including Fenix before I chose this one and could not be happier. I have been using it for almost a year now. For me, this one was the best of all features. It is extremely bright, has a great throw and perfect beam size. Also, I like the concealed charge port over others with a rubber cover. The tail piece is great as well. I really like the tactical style button with momentary on. It has 5 brightness levels and retains the last used. I use it daily for a few minutes at lowest or one up brighter setting for daily chores and occasionally mid or extreme bright when I need to see something far away. It definitely lights up clearly further than I can see objects. The battery is EXCELLENT even at full brightness for extended time! I would give it 100 out of 5 stars!!!!!!

great small flashlight
The only two things I can criticize on this flashlight: The light spot is not well defined...a little fuzzy. But this is being picky as this is not an adjustable focus model. The second thing is at full brightness the light/battery will get very warm...almost hot in your hand. It is a great light for the money. I do industrial inspections for a living so I am picky about flashlights. This is small, can fit in a shirt pocket. The set ranges of brightness are useable. The battery has great capacity/long life. Charging is simple as a usb C cord. And the charge port is protected from dirt, debris and water. There is an indicator led to let you know when it is charged or there is an issue with the battery. I also like the built in belt clip. It is comfortable in your hand, the clip is unobtrusive. I cannot speak to durability yet but I expect it to hold up looking at the build. Great flashlight.

A high quality flashlight, not perfect, but nothing is.
I like this lite. It has a 1.25X wider hot spot compared to my Fenix PD40R v3.0 flashlight, I like that a lot. The head also heats up much faster on 3,000 lum. turbo compared to the PD40R v3.0 too! Those of us that know what I mean, know that is good as it is getting rid of the heat faster, instead of it being trapped inside the light. Fenix still steps down the lumens when it gets too hot, but by getting rid of the heat faster, it holds its turbo setting longer without baking the electronics. A big thing for me getting this light over even newer ones, was the 150 lum. low power setting. A 30 lum. eco setting is nice if you need it, but 150 lumens is mor practical for a low setting. The 350 lumen setting is really nice for a more powerful level, when you don't need 1,000 lms. By it having a built-in charger, the light is about 3/8" longer, but I still think it is a big advantage. To me it is important to have easy to push tail switches (I have had hand surgeries and have week thumbs), these switches are reasonably easy to push. Fit/finish/quality is really good, like I said, "I like this lite". This is some advice from a silly 78 year old: "Remember if every day isn't an adventure, you're not doing it right".

The Best Duty Light
The Fenix TK20R is by far the best flashlight I have ever used. Its brightness is truly impressive, illuminating even the darkest environments with ease. The build quality is top-notch, reflecting excellent craftsmanship and durability. The design is well thought out, providing a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics. One of the standout features is its amazing controls, which are intuitive and easy to use. Whether you're using it for outdoor adventures or emergency situations, this flashlight delivers exceptional performance. I highly recommend the Fenix TK20R for anyone in need of a reliable and powerful light source.

Owned for 6 months still working
Owned it for about six months now. Affordable, bright light that looks good and feels good. The only downside is that it doesn't have a turbo button, but can't knock if for that when the product description doesn't state that it does. It comes exactly as advertised. Lowest brightness setting is more than enough for 99% of applications for use. Battery life seems good, haven't seen it go red although I do charge it often.

EXCELLENT !!!!
This flashlight is excellent, and I am super super happy to have it! I’m writing a quick review here to share what I’ve done to make the experience even better. The TK 20R incorporates two switch buttons on the endcap, a large and a small. The Large performs the traditional functions of clicking and release (IE, turn on the light) and a momentary push of the large button highlights the object at the current level of Brightness you have set until released. There is a second smaller button on the endcap that allows you to step through each level of Brightness, and then if held down for a few seconds, will go to strobe at 3000 lm. Very impressive. A very quick way to tactically get that strobe going if you have some sort of issue in front of you. Additionally, charging of the battery is now done by partially unscrewing a collar below the head of the flashlight. Two or three twists and you’ll exposed a charging port on one side and 180° out from that on the other side is a green/red charge indicator light. Also, on the endcap are two machine holes that allow for lanyard to be installed. (provided with the flashlight when purchased.) So here is the problem I encountered and my solution for it that I want to share. I’m guessing what 10 or 15 people ever ever see this LOL but I think it’s worth sharing: When you play with the light and the buttons, you realise that if you’re in the dark or you simply picked the light up, you want to quickly be able to reference your hand to the proper position relative to the buttons, and additionally, when you go to expose the charging port / connector, what I was most often interested in seeing when I wasn’t plugging in to charge was what is the state of the charge status light? So a lot is going on, and I looked to have a single method to orient all of these features, which I think I found. I have attached a picture with very various arrows highlighting visually what I am talking about below,. Here’s what I did: 1) I am right-handed, so looking down at the endcap in front of me and placing the small button closest to my stomach at 6 o’clock if you will, I installed the lanyard on the right side hole. Now I’m holding the flashlight by the lanyard and I slide my finger and thumb up on the way, and you’re tight against the endcap of the flashlight, I know exactly where I am relative to the large and the small button. 2) I took the pocket clip and rotated it around until the pocket clip was lined up with the small button, which gives me a second point of feel and reference, I can feel for that clip and know what is at the top of the clip, the small button. My small button is going to be right there. I should mention in case you’re not seeing this or getting this that that small button is the strobe as I mentioned, so that was the primary interest - Quick orientation to access the strobe feature on the small button. Lastly, by creating the orientation above, I also discovered that when I hold the flashlight heads up, using my fingers to locate the pocket clip, and then I unscrew the collar to expose the charging port/charge indicator light, the charge status light will be about 10° to my right and readily visible. So again, without looking but just feeling and understanding the way the flashlight features have been orientated, I can hold the pocket clip, unscrew the collar and I’m gonna be looking at the charge status light right away. Also, , the final final thing would add is that I am going to get some sort of glue or gel and glue the pocket clip in the position I described above so it will not rotate on the flashlight body. I don’t think it’s particularly significant, I don’t expect to lose anything by doing this, but what it will do is hold that clip in place to provide the orientations I talked about above. OK I hope you enjoy the light. It is really really excellent. I am quite pleased. You know each time they come out with a light and you’re thinking “well this is it, this is the best”, but I have to say now I’m up at 3000 lm and it’s just a basic EDC flashlight y the size of hotdog, I’m thinking this is truly the bomb !!
