Best wheat grass
I ordered these to make wheat grass for my Persian new year table! Best results ever! The wheat germs were also nice, soft and sweat. They could be a good addition to salads or used to make Samanoo! Love it and will definitely order again. PS: last year I ordered the red and hard winter wheat from the same company. The same great quality but it did take longer to grow. I guess the red ones are better for adding to your rice. Excellent quality!

Delicious & Definitely Worth the Price
I am unable to eat most store-bought breads, especially whole wheat due to the inclusion of additives and malted barley flour. I purchase Antimo Caputo Chef's Flour and finely grind these wheat berries myself as needed using my Ninja. I use a 3 to 1 cup ratio when making my whole wheat artisanal bread. The result: No cramps. No gas. A delightful texture- airy and not overly heavy. The ground berries are very clean, fresh, and have a light, nutty flavor. I recommend Palouse Brand Certified Glyphosate Residue Free Soft White Wheat Berries. I store unground berries in their cotton bag on the top shelf of my refrigerator with my flour and other grains.

Great quality, just like grandma used to make, great for weightloss
My grandmother used to make wheat berries all the time for breakfast, usually served as a cereal. I went searching for some for a nostalgia and to help on my diet. These cook up faster than the hard red ones I was used to, but come out perfect every time. And I love that I can see who harvested and packed it! And if you’re looking for a food that will seriously keep you full, wheat berries is it. Wheat berries and greek yogurt is a breakfast I can’t believe I didn’t know about before.

Great for Vitamix flour
Wheat flour has been hard to find at grocery stores due to Covid and decided to making my own. This works great with a Vitamix and I just use the wet container and didn't waste my money on the dry container but I only need a cup at a time. Flour is as good as store bought. It's more expensive though and I don't like the packaging. It's in a burlap sack that is hard to open up and it's hard to keep closed, you need to pour it in an airtight container to store it.

Superb
Bought this to grow fodder for my chickens and rabbit. I love that they’re glyphosate free and sustainably packaged. The volume for the price is good, and I will be buying more. Thank you!

You, too, can make an awesome Italian grain pie with these berries.
After years and years of trying to find Italian grain pie for my husband during the holidays, especially Easter. I finally decided to try making one for Thanksgiving this year. I went online to find premium soft white wheat berries, as one of the recipes I looked at suggested white wheat berries were faster to cook. I purchased the 3 lb. bag of Palouse Brand white wheat berries, and finally narrowed down my search of recipes to one that sounded traditional, but easier to make. Well, the pie was a huge success with my husband, and even I loved it. In fact, I think it was better that the two or three pies from Italian stores that I purchased in New York when we lived there (forget about trying to buy one in San Diego, where we now reside). This pie is traditionally made just for Easter, but with my three pound bag of wheat berries, I will be making it way more often. Yes, the berries are expensive, but a great pie calls for great ingredients! Thanks for helping me make this awesome dessert!
