performance meets desktop for photography
This wasn't my first choice. I needed a laptop for on-the-go photography, and I was holding out for the M2 apple products. But, the price for 16 GB RAM version wasn't economical for me. I am also a Windows user, who wanted touchscreen functionality (along with pen support in case I wanted to do artistic edits). The ConceptD Ezel was another contender, but I worried about color accuracy.I use lightroom a lot. Exporting and importing RAW files isn't fast. My desktop is Intel i5, 32GB, 4 core, 3.2GHz PC. I did an informal test of importing and exporting 100 RAF files in Lightroom. I was happy to see this laptop (running on battery) perform better than my desktop i.e. twice as fast. I also have a dual CPU HP Z600 workstation with 40 GB RAM and 12 cores. The laptop beat this too, 1-2 minutes. I was sold. The display is gorgeous, but its unusable in the sun. This is one gripe. I purchased a matte screen protector to allow me to work on this while in my car or backyard. My second gripe would be that I can't add/change the existing RAM stick to increase the overall memory.Other than these, it's been a great experience to use a laptop for photography.

I love it, really fast, excellent screen, ultra-light...
I love it, my new one is fast, has an excellent touch screen, ultra-light... Really nice, you just need to buy a hub to have more ports.I use this to edit my photo and videos... And I love it.My last laptop was an Asus Strix with more than 5 years of full work and I loved it, but this one is an excellent replacement.

DO NOT BUY - AMD chip issue UPDATED: it is STILL pure garbage
negative 5 stars; holding fast to "Do Not Buy" rating. I should note: I am not using this for gaming, just MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, web browsing.2 years later - the wipe and reload helped a lot, but there is still a stutter where you are working steadily and the system freezes just enough to destroy any workflow in progress.almost a year later: I had to wipe and reload the computer - avoided all NVIDIA, AMD, and especially MyAsus software, straight Windows 11. Microphone is back and it now functions like a nice $800 computer (paid $1400). Still some sort of random stutter every few hours where mouse lags for 30 seconds. Spent more money to plug in a USB WiFi adapter and disabled the onboard helped, save for eating up and sticking out of the loan USB port on the laptop.I should also mention the wifi antenna on this laptop is crap. If I turn the laptop sideways to my router, 20 feet away, it cannot connect. If I go further than 30 feet, connection drops in and out, slows to a crawl. This is over two routers now, and also while sitting next to other devices like cameras and chromecasts and tablets that have no trouble connecting. As a bonus, the microphone on it has turned into garbage as well. no idea why.9 month update - just want to reiterate this laptop is absolute garbage. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH ASUS having bought 5+ laptops from them previously. The AMD stutter? sorta fixed - less noticeable but still there - just had mouse fail to respond for 30 seconds. Other times, mouse spazzes out.6 month update: by far the worst computer I have ever owned, many of which have been ASUS. Until this unit I was a solid ASUS fan with the last 5 computers for myself and family being their brand. ASUS finally got the TPM BIOS update from AMD out - MONTHS after it was released. So at least the computer does not blue screen and lose all my credentials now. Instead, the mouse locks up constantly killing any and all work flows. As a bonus, I've discovered it is impossible to get the unit to sleep - it just stays on or somehow wakes up getting hotter and hotter. DO NOT BUY.AMD has had for a year a known issue with the TPM module and Windows 11. This causes "stuttering" where the laptop locks up for a few seconds to minutes and regular "TPM" reset black screen of death upon restart. Other manufacturers have been distributing a bios fix, but ASUS is not even acknowledging the issue. Buy the INTEL version - my mistake for trying AMD after years of avoiding. (Google AMD fTPM stuttering to learn more). I sincerely regret this purchase and would exchange if I could.

Great all around value
It really doesn't get much better than this at the price point. I got mine off Amazon warehouse at a discount and honestly I couldn't be happier. It has a great GPU, CPU, battery life, high quality screen, touch screen, and it's fast. I'm not too big of the raised keyboard since it's a little uncomfortable on the lap, but that's a minor detail in a great product.

Perfect laptop for work
Hesitated to order to Georgia but it arrived safely. I would never by such a laptop here for this amount of money. The laptop is fast, works perfectly. The only thing that it has the US plug but it is easily fixed with the spare cord. I love the touch screen!!!

Bought at $869 Price Point.
Would have never bought this for 1400 and change. Needed a laptop that this quit frankly met all criteria. Wiped and put Windows 10 on until the geniuses at Microsoft figure out 11. The 3050ti pulls from the 16GB of ram leaving with 12 but I will be upgrading to 32GB. Screen is was brighter than expected. This will be more laptop than is needed for a daily driver but the price in the high 800's made it to hard to pass up. Have not tested camera yet. As D.K. Mentioned it may not be that great but I am hoping it will be better than one from 2012.

Mobile Gaming
This is lighting fast with plenty of storage. The OLED touchscreen produces amazing picture quality. The Ryzen 9 will eat everything you throw at it. Great value and performance for price.
