I've been using this with my BGE and it has performed flawlessly. With it's performance and dependability, I really don't need a backup starter, but it's better to have and not need, than to need and not have.

Works perfectly. Like the long handle. Watch out that the flames don't burn the plastic part of the handle.

So far this thing is great and I would for sure recommend this for a big green egg. Takes a few minutes and has coals going good.

Gets charcoal going faster than using a chimney starter and starter fluid. The only downside is I expect it to rust out before too long. But at half the price of a chimney starter and way less mess I'll just buy another.

Easier to place in grill with placing charcoal over the top of coil instead of my previous flat coil charcoal starter

I’ve had this starter for 2 months with absolutely no complaints. I bought it for lighting charcoal in a chimney because of its length and shape. This starter has not disappointed. It does exactly what I expected it to do.

Le starter électrique avec sa forme incurvé est idéal et facile d'utilisation. Avec un starter qui est de forme droite lorsqu'on le met dans le grill il est en diagonal ce qui occasionne qu'il ne touche pas a toutes les briquettes. Je le recommande.

Facile à utiliser,mais il faudrait un contacteur pour l'allumer,et un étui de rangement
