Very nice looking; well constructed and decent amount of storage
I bought this portfolio to replace my old one I use for interview. I had my old one fr 10 years and I needed to update this item. . Very nice looking; well constructed and decent amount of storage. It seems well made and a nice product I Many people have told me it looks nice and ask about where I purchased it. There are a few areas I feel there could have been some improvement. They are as follows: Quick access pen storage: while there is a zippered compartment that works to hold extra pens, there is only one hoop in the center crease for quick access to a pen. The calculator is very cheap and not updated calculator at all. I was disappointed with this part of the item and will e replacing the calculator with another better functioning calculator in the future. The extra pockets are small this portfolio does provide several different size pockets and decent storage for various sized items, having it store and hold more than a couple dozen standard sized sheets of paper without them getting somewhat crumpled from shoving them in. However, the front access pocket does provide a nice quick access point if you have a piece of paper or two you want to access quickly while having the it closed Overall, this is a good purchase for the price and portfolios of similar or worse quality can go for 50-80 dollars easily. Even knowing what I do, I would buy again as this is a good quality, inexpensive binder. It's NOT a perfect product, but you easily get more than you pay for.

Sometimes you get less than what you pay for
This portfolio was cheap. And not a good cheap... just cheap. And the pictures don't reflect it very well, but the exterior accent is fake snake skin which makes it look gaudy and cheap. I sent it back.

Solid portfolio for good price
I bought this portfolio to replace my old one for work. I use mine extensively all day in my office. Very nice looking; well constructed (so far, I will update this review if it starts to deteriorate); decent amount of storage. Quite well put together, and I have received several compliments on its looks. There are a few areas I feel there could have been some improvement. They are as follows: 1). Quick access pen storage: while there is a zippered compartment that works to hold extra pens, there is only one hoop in the center crease for quick access to a pen. Not a huge issue, but I use multiple pens and colors for various reasons , and is mildly annoying. 2). "Dual Powered" marking on calculator: this is the MAIN cheap looking part on the whole thing. While it's nice that the calculator does have a battery backup (and the calculator does work decently well for basic calculations), having "DUAL POWERED" in big bold white letters across the top of the black calculator detracts from the work. Looks like it could be scraped off though. 3). Sizing of extra pockets: while this portfolio does provide several different size pockets and decent storage for various sized items, having it store and hold more than a couple dozen standard sized sheets of paper without them getting somewhat crumpled from shoving them in. However, the front access pocket does provide a nice quick access point if you have a piece of paper or two you want to access quickly while having the it closed (which is nice). Overall, this is a very solid buy, especially for the price. Other portfolios of similar or worse quality can go for 50-80 dollars easily. Even knowing what I do, I would buy again as this is a good quality, inexpensive binder. It's NOT a perfect product, but you easily get more than you pay for.

Much cheaper and better built than anything I saw at Staples
Well built and many pockets. The tablet compartment is very useful. It would be better if a paper pad is included. Overall satisfied with the faith and quality.

Not bad, Not great
Let me first say that I really felt compelled to sit down and take some time on a nice sunny day to help other shoppers make an educated decision before buying this Portfolio or any other one here on Amazon or anywhere else. I was looking for a 'folio that could house a legal not pad, have a slot behind it to keep office forms that need to be filled out at job site by various people, have a calculator and a means to retain completed forms and keep them separate from blank ones all the while safe and secure so they don't somehow slip out at any time. After hours searching the usual office supply chain stores (to no avail) and hours searching the web I settled on this item based on the positive reviews, certainly not from the very lacking Item Details provided by Amazon. Heaven forbid if the manufacturer or Amazon could make an effort and include a decent product description. It really irks me how lame Item Details can be on this site in general and probably the #1 reason why I don't shop on Amazon more frequently. THE CONS: While the style, design and finish on this folio are comparable to others in the price range the functionality of it is LIMITED. There is only one inside slot to keep files or documents inside for protection. It is located on the left hand side once 'folio is opened up. Problem is the slot DOESN'T ACCOMMODATE 8.5 X 11" paper completely. The edge sticks out which may not be ideal for some folks. As far as Standard folders go, they stick out BEYOND the zipper about 1/2" past the edge of the 'folio. So if you put a folder inside that slot with some documents prepare to bend the top of the folder in order to close the 'folio up which makes things, cramped, complicating access, as well as look messy and unprofessional. The outer slot is good to hold any paper SMALLER than standard letter size documents, or it must be folded in half, (again sub optimal). You can fit regular envelope or something like 5 X 7" but definitely not a folder or anything like that without it sticking way out and looking ridiculously sloppy. Really poor form and design. Other 'folios I checked out at Office Trash and Staples worked much better but I somehow ended up ordering this. Lesson learned. If you see an item in person that works for you BUY IT. Even if it costs a few or several dollars more. Ordering on line is a game of chance lately as all a consumer gets information wise is a pic or two at best and a lame description. Here is what they could say if they weren't so lazy: Item weight: 20.5 oz Manufactured: China (probably by an angry child in a labor camp) Overall quality and craftsmanship: Flimsy and cheap to keep price down Zipper wrap around enclosure with a strap flap to keep outer slot "secure" Material: Man Made Leather Like Look but certainly not feel Outer Dimensions, zipped closed: L: 13 5/8" W: 10 1/2" D:1 1/4" Outer Flap/slot: L: 11 7/8" W: 7 1/2" Inside Flap/slot on Left Side: L: 12" W: 7 1/2" at max there is a notch (see item Pic) in center 7" Slot expands to about 1/4"- 3/8" max Zipper slot: L: 9" W: 6" somewhat expandable, enough to hold some pens, markers erasers, correction tape Slot behind calculator: L: 4" W: 7" Two biz card slots above L: 4" W: 1 3/4" ea. One windowed slot below calculator L: 4" W: 2 3/4" (drivers license or credit card, etc fit completely inside) One pen holder loop in middle Right Side has 9" opening to accommodate legal pad Thin cardboard insert on both sides Color: Brown Zipper with pull tab Now how hard is that to include, AMAZON? Majestic? Pros: It's not expensive. Will hold a legal pad for notes taking. Can hold your mail or paper but not standard size folder in left side slot. Lightweight. Time permitting I will try to add a link to pictures demonstrating poor design if Amazon permits in my next post

And that I didn't like so much
I didn't realize that it has some brown snakeskin looking leather on it. And that I didn't like so much. But it's a good Portfolio. Except the inside pocket without the zipper barely fits regular sized paper and fits nothing with a page protector on it.
