From my dog: Dear Human, I’ve been meaning to write you a little note to thank you for introducing me to the Wellness Complete Health Natural Wet Canned Dog Food with Duck & Sweet Potato. I just have to tell you, this stuff is amazing! Every time you open the can, the smell fills the room, and I get so excited I can hardly wait for you to put it in my bowl. It’s like you’re spoiling me with a gourmet meal every time! The duck is so tasty and tender, and the sweet potato adds a perfect touch of sweetness. Honestly, it’s so good that I can’t help but gobble it up in record time. I even give you extra tail wags to show how much I love it. What I love even more is that this food is healthy for me. It’s packed with high-quality ingredients that help me stay strong and active, and I’ve noticed that I feel extra energized and ready to play after each meal. My coat looks shinier, and my tummy is happy too, so I think it’s doing wonders for me! So, thank you for choosing this fantastic food for me. You’ve totally earned my best doggy kisses and snuggles for making me feel so spoiled and loved. Keep feeding me this, and I’ll keep giving you all the love and loyalty in return! My dog loves this....and so do we! Miki has been having problems for over a year with the skin just outside of her tear ducts getting red, then raw...poor thing. Each time I'd take her to the vet, (2 different vets just to see), they both prescribed the same eye drop medicine ($27.00) for a tiny bottle. But, it never cleared up entirely, and the minute I'd stop with the drops, after weeks of applying 2-3 x's a day, it would come right back. Looking at her made me feel terrible. Then, I started thinking about maybe it was something she is eating, even though I've been feeding her Ceasar for a couple years and thought it to be a "good" dog food. But after researching what was in Wellness dog food compared to the store bought stuff, I couldn't believe I was feeding her that stuff! So, after doing the math, a 3oz tub of Ceasar vs the 12 1/2 oz can of Wellness, I could get 3 bigger servings (4.1 oz each) out of a can of Wellness...for the same, or better price, and it was way healthier for her! Our Miki looks so pretty again (Papillon) and seems she has a whole lot more energy too! I figure it must be the change in diet that helped clear up her eyes but wasn't sure because we moved at the same time (same town) and I thought it might have been some plants/allergies she was getting into in the back yard. But....I let myself run out of Wellness (not on purpose!) and had to feed her something else, so I went with the Ceasar and ordered her some more Wellness. By the time I placed and received my order, (not much more than a week), the skin below her eyes had already broken out again! Ummmm...CONFIRMATION! And guess what? Within 2 weeks after our Wellness shipment arrived, and she was back eating her favorite dog food, Miki's tear duct area was dried up, rawness gone, and hair was growing back! I don't even remember how I stumbled across this dog food, and who would have ever thought I'd be ordering dog food from Amazon, but with the great price, and free super saver shipping, like I said earlier, it's the same price as that store bought "stuff", but she gets more than an ounce more per serving and look at the ingredients...it's real chicken, and sweet potatoes! (A lot of other good for her stuff!) I'm sold on Wellness (so is Miki~she loves it!) I had just come back online to re-order some more Wellness Chicken and Sweet Potato food, when I thought that I should take a moment to RAVE about this great stuff. So I did!

Great dog food a little pricey, big dog food

Wellness is a good brand with quality ingredients so cannot knock it down any. But my dog does not seem to like it as much as another brand. Give it a try though...price is reasonable for a premium brand.

My dogs love the product, but I HATE that every time it’s delivered, at least a couple of cans are damaged. I either have to return the entire 12-pack or keep it. Would be nice if Amazon or Wellness Brand would an offer partial refunds for this situation. Don’t know who to blame, the manufacturer or Amazon delivery. Frustrating for such an expensive product.

Roxie, really is the 16 year old, human's best friend, Jack Russell Terr"or" that runs this household. Roxie has input to my reviews, since she is the reason for a few of the products that I purchase on Amazon (cleaning supplies, paper towels, dog food, and hair dye due to the gray hairs she has given me over the years). The 31st of December Roxie had emergency surgery that proved to be the end result of a 3 to 3.5 year problem she had been experiencing which no Vet had diagnosed until it came to a very ugly head. Roxie survived, the Vet & Roxie's human are amazed and ecstatic. Prior to the off and on issues that Roxie had, everything was tasty & edible in the Roxie mind. No gastrointestinal problems, Roxie could seemingly digest a school bus if she had the time to munch on it and ability to catch it. During the illness and after surgery this has not been the case, due to either the protracted illness/infection or age (gets to all of us, human or dog), something did not recover in the gut. Dried food, does not stay down, so many of the canned foods do not stay down, or are scorned. Roxie desperately needed to gain weight. I have been using Wellness dry foods now for a few years with great success for the other dogs, but they were sadly not working for Roxie. Years ago I had fed her nothing but a dried food Lamb & Rice (another brand), tried multiple canned brands & recipes of canned Lamb on the advice of the Vet (no the prescription diets did not work either, at all, what a disaster they were) and the specialty pet food shop that we have here. After multiple disasters, I bought a few cans of Wellness Canned Dog Food for Adult Dogs, Lamb and Sweet Potato Recipe. Fatty, but that can be carved off with a spoon, since it congeals on the food between the food and the can. Roxie is now thriving on this food 6 months later, has gone from 9.6 pounds to 16+ pounds (ideally she should be around 17 pounds), it stays down, and Roxie is eager to chow down when it is placed in front of her. Every day after the 31st of December for Roxie and her human has been a blessing, she was not expected to survive the surgery. I do not know how to fully express my gratitude to Wellness for this food and Amazon for making it available at a reasonable price, it does have Roxie's 5 Star seal of approval. So, Roxie and her humble human want to Thank Amazon & Wellness for making this food available. Thank You.
