I was using the box my DDJ came with & it was becoming too cumbersome & not very professional dragging it around with me. Finally got a case & I love it. Makes carrying a bunch of other equipment so much easier especially since the club I dj at is quite a walk from the car. This case also fits 2 cords, could probably fit a few more if I folded them in there better. Would recommend this case for smaller controllers. wish it fit a laptop too but I get what I paid for. There is also foam in the case so the equipment doesn't bang around but the foam is just on one side, which was why I took off a star. Shipped quickly!

This is a high quality case and I'm really impressed with it. Surpassed all expectations and thrilled to have finally picked it up. I held off on getting a case for the controller due to the cost but after seeing how well it's made I wish i had gotten it sooner. There is no chance you'll be disappointed with the feel, the look, the sturdiness, the zippers the handle... and basically the protection if your bringing your controller out of the house. Light weight case for a lightweight controller. The case holds up great and protects the DDJ-400 well. I have traveled with it a bit now with no issues. I was a little skeptical about buying this case verses some heavy case that cost almost as much as the controller. This really makes portability issues go away.

Perfect fit safe

I bought this specifically to protect my DDJ-400 inside a larger checked bag size suitcase. I love the quality. The bottom is a nice soft felt, the top is foam to protect knobs and jogs. It "hard" in the sense that it's harder that just plain fabric, but it is still bendable. Not enough protection to travel by itself, but literally perfect for tossing in a suitcase with clothes and stuff while you travel. Very happy!

First off I am not a dj but tinker at home. I wanted something to protect my investment and this does that. The top has a nice foam insert to protect all the controllers knobs. The bottom is deep enough that you could probably place a piece of foam there as well. If you are just traveling from a to b i think the case will work for you. Just enough room on either side for some cords. Feels well made but again i only use it at home.

For a cheap solution to make sure I can travel safely, as I am not a pro dj and just want to take my equipment over to a friends house, I was glad it fit well. Egg crate is only on one side and wish it was on both, but I got what I paid for.

This is way better than I expected. Feels very sturdy and its the perfect size. You can fit the controller and a couple of cables. The material on the inside and outside feel great. What a great deal this is. You wont regret it.
