Pain in the ass to align shelf holes on legs, but nothing a rubber mallet didn’t solve, it’s a really sturdy unit and blend well with room. Perfect for all jumping spiders the wife’s breeding 😱

This desk looks beautiful - we bought it so my husband can work from home without having to have a “home office”, instead thus slotted in to our bedroom nicely! It looks lovely and he’s placed his collectibles on the shelves above and a lovely desk light too!

As I went to build i noticed paint coming off one of the parts and a crack in the other. Contacted seller and they are sending replacements for damaged parts. Its a nice unit but quality is average.

I bought this desk/shelving unit for my son’s bedroom and we’re all very pleased with it! As the review before me said, it’s not oak effect, it’s a darker wood than it shows in the listing the images, but it still looks nice. It was hard to put up on my own as the pieces kept wobbling and moving, but it was easy with 2 people. One of the shelves was damaged on the edge, but the damage was on the underside and can’t be seen, so it’ll be ok. It arrived before the estimated delivery date, which was fabulous! Overall, it’s a good shelving/desk unit. My reason for taking away a star was because of the slight damage to a shelf, and because the colour of the wood wasn’t the same, so it doesn’t match our other furniture.

Good solid product. Looks great in our room and desk space is larger than expected. When a problem with delivery arose, and it went missing, the seller was fast to respond and very quick to resolve and replace. Would highly recommend this product and the seller.

Lovely desk, great value. Difficult to assemble on your own, best with 2 people. The colour looks different to the pictures but is a nice shade of brown. Very sturdy and excellent value for money, would recommend

It's darker than the pics showed, and very heavy. Not very suitable for living room or bedroom.

It wasn't difficult to put to together, the fact that the holes had not been properly finished was frustrating, you will need to countersink the main fixing holes so that they screw in flush with the final surface, otherwise the finishing caps will not fit or look right
