Q: Can you remove a shelf to provide more room for larger items

Yes, if you want a double height shelf you can just not screw in the shelf above when putting it together, or remove it if you have already put it together.

Q: How can I move this shelf when cleaning ?

I purchased the 12 tier rack and I did not stack them on top of each other, so it's easily movable. However, you could purchase some of those Magic Sliders Sliding Discs from Target for $4.00, which could also help. I hope this helps and be safe.

Q: Does this come in gray?

Unfortunately, the Bronze is the only color option.

Q: How tall are the shelves if you separate them into two racks instead of one tall one? I can only find the overall dimension of the stacked shelves.

Divide the number in half or look at the single 6 tier rack offered by Sonigmics. The two racks are in this listing exactly the same and can be used separately. Mine are stacked.
