Kelinul Silicone Scar Tape works well
My Dermatologist surgery was deep in the skin layers and also a wide football shape, in order to successfully remove enough tissue. I imagined the healing process would be extensive because the open wound area was wide. For the first 3 weeks a compression bandage was used to insure the stitches could hold the gap closed. The sutures just weren’t quite enough to hold so there needed to be a few areas closed better. The doctor reinforced the sutures wound closure with medical grade tape for 5 days. After about 4-5 weeks the stitches were removed and the scar looked rough like football stitching. It was recommended to use a silicone scar tape, so after researching I decided on the “Kelinul” brand. It has been a great aid to use this brand of silicone tape because over another month the rough scar became smoother and flatter. The roughness to the scar has calmed down and in time it looks like it won’t be that noticeable. Something that originally may have been a keloid scar looks good after 2.5 months. Also you can leave it on for 5 to 7 days and take a shower without it falling off. You can remove the Kelinul scar tape every 2-3 days to clean the wound. The scar tape can be cleaned then put back & it sticks pretty well, so you can keep using it for over a week. Just keep everything clean. The Kelinul Scar tape has helped very much in the post surgery stage because it is so much easier to use than gauze with a different type of adhesive tape I originally tried. I will now always keep this in my home medical kit.

Overall good tape!
I have used multiple brands of scar tape, and many are comparable to the Kelinul Scar Tape. This scar tape separates itself from some of the others because it had good adhesive properties so it holds to the skin, and it has a little more silicone so wear life is extended. Bottom line, this scar tape works as long as you have patience and use it on a daily basis until desired results are achieved. I could see scar reduction immediately, but as the product states, it takes weeks for scars to become unnoticeable. This scar tape's adhesion is very good as long as it is applied to clean dry skin. Each strip can be cleaned with warm water and reapplied once dry. The wear and reapply process only lasts me a couple of uses, but it's due to my desire to use new tape, not out of necessity. I imagine it could be used 6 or 7 times as long as it's cleaned and stored properly after each use. If you have trouble getting the tape strips to stay on the skin, especially after several washes, you can use a medical grade paper tape to tape both ends down. This has worked for me. The paper tape can easily be removed when cleaning the scar tape.

Never thought it would be this effective!
So I've used Mederma Silicon sheets before for a scar I had years ago so I am aware the silicon sheets work. There has been a keloid on my chest that stemmed from an ingrown pimple. It had been bothering me for years especially my aesthetic. I decided one day to look on Amazon for silicon sheets. I had already known about the Mederma but wanted to just try something different. I landed on this Kelinul Silicon Sheets due to the pretty decent reviews and pricing. Like the Mederma sheets, you can wash these and re use them. I reuse some for up to 2 weeks. Now I am in my 2nd month and my keloid scar has gone down significantly. And these are the sheets that are contributing to that. Can't thank this company enough. Great product. And will continue to buy more if needed(honestly doubt I'd have to buy more as one box will last me for quite a while.) I recommended this product and using it correctly will give you great, great results(leaving it on constantly on your keloid).

Excellent quality
I started scar care recently after top surgery. My Dr recommended extremely expensive silicone strips but I didn’t want to shell out THAT much so I explored other options. I am so glad I took a chance and tried these strips. They last me around a week, potentially could last even longer, I just prefer to change it out. I take them off daily and rinse them off like the instructions say to do. I love the way they feel when I put them back on. These come in tearable strips which is fantastic. The length of my scars match up perfectly with being able to split them and not have extra hanging off. I have found it helpful to put the strips on BEFORE deodorant. When I did it the other way, the strip was close enough to my armpits that it got deodorant on it and didn’t stick. Otherwise, even after 7 rinses, these still go strong. I also took one square and cut it in half to put over my closed drain holes. The past couple days I forgot to take those little pieces off and they stayed on through two showers. I’ve been through three rounds/three weeks and it looks like I could still do another 2-3 weeks with the amount that is left in the package. I appreciate this affordable, quality option.

Affordable, and easy to use alternative to pricey, messy silicone scar gels
Kelinul Silicone Scar Tape 1.6" x 120" is an affordable alternative to messy, and expensive silicone scar gels, which often contain very little actual silicone. My surgeon's office suggested using a silicone scar tape during the healing process of my very long surgical scar. So far, this tape is doing the job of softening, flattening, and fading the scar. It is easy to apply, and simple to rinse clean for re-application after a shower. Very comfortable to wear, and sticks well. One of the best features is that it does not irritate my very sensitive skin at all. I usually cannot tolerate any medical tapes, bandaids, tegaderm, etc. Thankfully, I have no negative reaction to the Kelinul tape. Big win.

Not impressed
I have gone through 4 different brands of silicone scar tape and this was my least favorite. 1. The adhesive does not work well. It almost immediately "rolls down" and scrunches up. 2. Not truly reusable. With the other tapes, I was able to use each strip for at least a solid 5 days. These are pretty much one-time use, which is pretty pricey considering they're about $20 a roll. 3. The perforated sheets come apart easily. With the other tapes, I was able to pull the tape off in one big piece then reapply after a shower. These come apart easily so you're literally pulling off piece by piece and it would be too much trouble to try to reapply.

Update- Works very well. Easy to use.
I have several scars and raised areas of over-healed tissue. Something about the way my skin heals. It is called hypertrophic scarring. I have used this for a few weeks. I haven't used it as much as I should, but at other times have kept it on for 3 or 4 days at a time. I have already noticed a flattening of the raised areas, especially the smaller ones. I'm excited to give it some time and see what this product will do over a longer period. It also works well as a longer term band aid. The neutral color is good. People just think it's a band-aid, just a bit harder to see. Update 1 month later. I've been really good about using the tape 6 days per week. I'm noticing a big difference in 8 of 9 areas I'm treating. The 9th area is a big hard ball of skin. While the tape is softening it and making a small dent, I suppose it will take many months to get the area flat.
