Pentair Water Pool and Spa 602054 Globrite for Swimming Pool, 50-Inch

Wow...was surprised how easy to install this (and I'm not super handy). Several YouTube videos walk you through it easily. And this was WAY cheaper than my local pool store for parts...and since it's an easy self-install, I saved another $150 doing it myself. Blows my mind what local stores will charge for parts and labor. I save about $225 via DIY ($75 saved on part, $150 saved on labor).

Light system. New it works great but of 4 lights installed in my pool 3 failed. Now a replacement light just failed. Took it apart. These lights have o-rings that leak over time and then the circuit board inside is ruined. Its easy but expensive to replace. Once this system installed it us a big deal to switch to another brand. Pentair... you need to fix this! For a new installation I suggest owners pick another system.

Installed and works like a charm. Pool store wanted $800+ for a new one with install. YouTube the install video and do it yourself!

As advertised - expensive for a low voltage bulb, but cheapest place I could find anywhere around.

I have had my pool less than five years and all five of my original pentair globrite lighs have died, now one of the replacement lights has died. Given the high price of these lights they do not last very long. I am now switching to another brand of light.

My pool builder put these in and now I'm locked into expensive Pentaiir. They work great and are easy to install.

Worked for one day. Talk about frustrated. It's not easy task to fish wires through conduit. Now I have to drain hot tub again and try to get replacement shipped. This is the third time in 3 years these things go bad stay away if you can. I can't because my concrete pool socket only accepts this unit. The manufacture knows this is a problem and still does nothing. UPDATE: Amazon sent me a return item at no additional cost, I replaced the unit and it has work for a total of 3 days...fingers crossed. I package and sent back the defective unit through Amazon and that part was extremely easy. No issue with Amazon but this product has some deep issues with failure and at $450 they should last longer.
