As a drum major in my band, i was looking for a baton to use as a cheapy for football games. This is perfect! A little bit longer than my preference. but that’s just me! Great product and i love the case! Beautiful color!

My daughter has had the same band director for the last 3 years and thinks the world of him! Found this and loved it so much that she paid for it with her own money because she thought it was the best gift ever. He felt the same way and now uses it. Put his other batons in the case with this one. Looks really professional and nice. Great band teacher gift!

High quality wooden baton case with magnetic fixtures keeping it closed, which is good for traveling. The conducting baton is slight heavier than what I’ve been using. Not sure if that’s good or bad. We shall see.

Nice - bought as a gift for my daughter's band director. The box is definitely red... I can't attest to the quality of the baton, as I'm not a conductor. The box is not quite as nice as I had hoped - but, it's ok.

I bought this for a student of mine who will start undergraduate school in the fall. He studied composition with me privately and shows great promise. I thought this would make a perfect gift to show him that he's headed toward being called "Maestro." The beautiful rosewood box and baton with matching handle made a lovely graduation gift.

The baton is as good as any and the box is really nice. We personalize the box from the band and give to our conductors for their service to the band.

It's a pretty good baton but not a really great box. The box is part wood/part plastic and the joints aren't the best - leaving sharp edges in some places.
