I imagine you will find yourself here for the same reason I did a couple of weeks ago, you like to have a go and you're looking for the best one stop solution because buying those new grips and buying all the kit to regrip is all adding up! I opted for this kit based on the volume of previous reviews, I did read some mixed but most were positive so I decided to find out for myself. The kit arrived pretty quickly as per usual Amazon delivery, the kit was exactly as per photos and all packaged well. Value for money certainly looks promising at this stage but, "proof will be in the pudding". I had already watched numerous videos on regripping clubs so was pretty confident in what I was doing. Firstly removing the old grips, the provided hooked blade was much better than anticipated, it's no Stanley but it was sturdy enough and the blade was more than sharp enough to slice through the old grips. After removing the old tape and cleaning up the shafts it was time to fit the new tape, the provided clamp for the vice was very effective at holding the club where required. The tape was a perfect width wrapping exactly round my iron shafts to meet itself, (I would recommend removing the blue plastic side of the double sided tape first for application before removing the secondary side) the tape was a little short in my case, but because I only had 9 clubs to regrip I was able to sacrifice one of the other tapes to cut 15mm strips to cover the open ends of the shafts, no big deal there. I can add that the tape is very, very sticky! Onto the solution, it is worth noting that the bottle has a cap on it, on the tapered/coned end that fits so well I couldn't see it for a start and wondered why nothing was coming out! (Maybe it had been a long day already, I don't know!) I didn't pay the solution a great deal of attention as it is what it is, I used a small paint tray under the tape end of my shaft to catch the run off, I applied solution straight to the tape before adding a healthy squirt into the grip whilst covering the hole at the end, before plugging the open end and giving it a good shake, I then let that solution out over the tape also. The grip slid easily onto the shaft and which point I wondered if I had used too much, before I then worried about getting the grip lined up! I already had the grips on pretty much straight and didn't want to find out the hard way how quickly they did or didn't set so I can't really comment on how much time you have! If you've made it this far, fair play, I've played two rounds since regripping and haven't had a single issue, even the golf hasn't been too terrible! All in all if I was doing it again I wouldn't hesitate to buy this kit again, worked perfectly

Re-gripping tape works well and easy to apply. Fluid supplied described as a spray but its not and to be honest white spirit works better.

Bought this kit for first time regripping a putter and selected based upon previous reviews which all seemed positive. The kit was delivered the same time as the new putter grip so all was well. Kit supplied has everything needed to regrip a number of clubs, reason for only four stars because the nozzle did not fit the bottle top and when opened the fluid leaked so had to carry out quick repair by wrapping tape around thread to stop leak. Apart from that everything worked well.

Have been doing my own grips for a couple of years now using firstly Isopropyl alcohol and then white spirits. And i have to say it's been a race to get the grip on before it seizes up about half way along the shaft. Fighting with the grip while the club bends (can't be good for it) and often had to give up with the grip just a few inches away. Even when i did get them on, forget about alignment... So i thought i'd give this a try and could return it if it wasn't up to much, i used a bit more solvent than i probably needed to, filled the grip, poured it over the taped shaft and was about to go into fight mode... It went on so easily it wasn't even funny, i had time to have a cuppa and still line it up. So easy I am thinking about doing the whole iron set now! The grip removal tool is pretty handy too and made it very easy to remove my last (hopefully now!) botched grip attempt. Highly recommend.
