I bought this kit of diamond bits thinking they wouldn't last as long as the real thing but would make up for it in volume for the price. I have been pleasantly surprised that these things seem to be as good as the name brand bits. I use them often on knives after they have been hardened and they last a surprising length of time. I thought I'd have to buy one or two kits a year but at this pace it will be a few more years before I have to replace them.

I purchased this larger set because I wasn’t sure which size I really needed to drill out some glazed over holes in a ceramic Christmas tree. I wanted to start with a pilot hole and then go up to the next size to avoid damaging or chipping the ceramic tree. They worked well and a reasonable price

tips are pretty resilient use at a lower speed and they may even last...haven't had them long but they have already came through when i needed them

They do what they were bought for. Not the best for drilling holes, you'll be there awhile. For grinding down rough Gemstones and crystals (Worked on my Amethyst and Other Quartz), for polishing later they work well.
