For the price I paid I was very surprised with the quality of these mics, I installed them in a school assembly hall for announcements and the occasional Christmas concert, the range I tested was about 30m and they worked fine, I use them through a mixing desk so there was ample amount of gain to work with, although if you push the gain too much there can be a little bit of interference come through, but once adjusted below this threshold they work fine. Connecting is simple, just turn on receiver and Mics and they auto connect, I found that it worked best to switch receiver on first and then plug into the desk as this caused no loud pops or interference, same on disconnecting, pull receiver out and then switch off. They feel solid and sound great for amateur or even semi professional use, they have a fairly neutral sound, if anything tending more toward a bass sound, so overall very versatile. Reliability is yet to be decided although with Amazon 2 year warranty and the price, you can’t go too far wrong
