I have never installed any type of doorbell before but ours was over 20 yrs old and looking pretty haggard. I purchased this one because I like the aesthetics of it, the chime options, and the fact that it even has Christmas tunes! Everything I needed was included. The push buttons had tabs so the batteries were protected and fresh. A hard tug removes the tabs without opening anything. It included screw and anchors but also adhesive custom fit pads. I paired my two buttons with the chime box by plugging chime box into outlet. It is preprogrammed with the familiar old style “ding dong” so you can stop here if you so choose. To change the volume, simply push the up/down button on the side of chime box while ringing doorbell. To select a ring tone you just push the other button on chime box and push doorbell button to hear each one. You can go forward and backward to make your selection so you don’t have to go through all 52 each time. Once you found the sound you like push button on doorbell. That’s it! So easy! It has been paired. I did the same for the second button, choosing a different tone so we can differentiate front vs back. I love that with a 1,000 ft wireless reach, you can easily find a convenient outlet for the chime box. Now, let’s install the button(s) outside. I used a little alcohol to wipe down the paint on my house siding where doorbell was going to be mounted, let it dry and adhered it using the self adhesive foam pad. It stuck so well. Be sure it’s straight because once it’s on, it isn’t easily coming off again. I can honestly say the entire setup from box to finish was MAYBE 15 minutes. (I’m 62, was in no rush and even read the directions, which were also simple and easy). Definitely recommend for quality of sound, product itself, ease of installation and chime options. There are several holiday songs and it’s so easy to change them it will make for a bit of fun come December. The look is clean and simple so unobtrusive to your decor, yet easily seen and obvious it’s the doorbell. This one is definitely a winner.

Perfect for our needs. Our front door opens to our sunroom so we wanted a doorbell leading into the sunroom from the outside. This unit was easy to install, has a variety of sound options and the volume is adjustable. Purchased 10 months ago with absolutely no issues to date. Great product especially considering the low cost.

I bought this for my office when our doorbell went out and the wiring was bad. This took about 2 minutes to set up, with very easy instructions. It comes with a ton of different doorbell chimes, mostly variations on existing doorbells, but I chose the barking dog. Now we all chuckle when someone comes to the door. It will probably get old eventually, but for now it's just fun. The receiver is about 40' from the door, so the range is perfect for our needs, and the volume is adjustable.

I purchased two transmitters (or doorbells, for my front and side doors) and two receivers (for my living room on main floor and bedroom upstairs). They work great! I did have issues with installation and the instruction manual. However, customer service is good: I received a prompt answer to my question when I emailed the manufacturer. Specifically, be careful with the screws if you use them. They are #4, 1 inch, flat head Phillips screws, provided to install the base (if you don't use the option of using the sticky-pads). They are fragile and I stripped the heads. So don't force the installation of the screws and be sure to use a SMALL Phillips screwdriver. I needed to get new screws at my local hardware store (#4 flat head Phillips, but only 3/4" since installing into the wood trim). The small screwdriver enclosed is only for replacing the battery (which the instruction manual fails to explain. When the battery expires, to replace the batteries ( after removing the back of the transmitter), you use that small screwdriver to remove another piece get to the expired battery. There is one CR2016 flat battery in each transmitter, per my Customer Service email reply). Instructions also were not clear how to pair each transmitter to each receiver....I ended up pairing one transmitter to one receiver; and the other transmitter to the other receiver, and now both transmitters work with each receiver. I was able to pick a different sound for the different doors. Pictured is one of the transmitters at the door and receivers in the house.
