Q: Can this unit be paired with another to give true stereo?

This is true IF it's exactly the same version of the Soundcore 2. I found this out the hard way when I ordered a 2nd one, which Amazon said was the same as my previous order. After having the issues pairing, Anker support told me that they are not compatible. But I do love this speaker. I just wish I could get it to pair with the other one. I have yet to purchase a 3rd one to get the pairing to work.

It can be charged and play music at the same time.

Q: what is a difference between upgraded and normal on this

Upgraded one has more powerful, crystal clear and pleasent sound. Also better bass up technology.. Soundcore 3 is much better speaker, then soundcore 2.
