Good value, but make sure you're using them correctly!
There's are fair amount of misinformation in the reviews, so here's a few points: - High voltage rubber gloves are considered disposable items. They can typically be relied on for around 6 months, but the polymers in the gloves oxidize over time and they lose their electrically resistive properties. This is normal for all high voltage gloves. - You should use cotton glove liners (around $10 for a 10-pack on Amazon) with these gloves. They will keep the gloves clean, and you won't need talcum powder like some reviews suggest. - You need leather outer gloves to protect high voltage rubber gloves, as any damage/punctures can make the rubber gloves useless. You can get a cheap pair on Amazon for around $20.

No shock
Gloves work well they keep you from getting shocked. I used them on a capacitor that's was not easy to get to. Could of used regular work gloves but for the price what the H. Do expect them to smell real bad like burnt rubber I hung them outside for two days out of the weather didn't really help.

These gloves stink!
The gloves came in a white paper bag in the delivery box. The chemical smell was pungent. Even after removing from bag, the bag smelled awful. I have since washed the gloves but the smell did not totally go away. They are sitting in my garage away from everything. I intend to put outside in the shed for the time being.

I'm not dead
I got these because electricity is terrifying. I had the bright idea to cut a large mystery wire running through my backyard with garden shears. I figured that getting these would make it look, when my charred remains were found, like at least I tried to be somewhat safe. I put on the gloves, cut the wire, didn't get electrocuted, and put the gloves away in a drawer. Luckily, I have no idea how well they worked. Maybe they saved my life, or maybe I wasted money on them. 5 stars.

Worked great for extra safety when discharging an old CRT display
It smells like an ash tray. If you are storing these indoors, prepare to store in a plastic bag or something. But its designed to prevent you from getting shocked. Not designed to smell like a rose garden.
