Nice wood
Good wood for laser cutting Wood is a bit warped but with a warm rag of water and a little pressure on a flat surface the wood will dry flat

Excellent for diod lasers
Excellent Plywood for Diode Laser Cutting I recently purchased this laser plywood and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. Using my 36W blue diode laser, the material cut exceptionally well, yielding very clean and highly accurate results. The quality of the plywood is evident, as it allowed for precise cuts without issues often encountered with lesser-grade materials. For anyone using a diode laser, particularly in the 36W range, this plywood is a fantastic choice for achieving professional and crisp outcomes. I highly recommend it for projects requiring fine detail and clean edges.

poor quality
I have ordered this product multiple times over the last year-and with the rating B/BB, i expect a few flaws here and there, maybe a patch on some sheets. This last bundle, 8 of the 20 sheets have a patch-and it's a strange patch, not the normal oval. The remainder of the 20 all had what looked like grease stained into the wood. I make small items with this wood to sell. I am actually shocked, because the quality has normally been fairly good-but this was awful. It seemed like someone grabbed all the really awful pieces and made a box out of them, and sold as normal. Shame!! I looked for a way to contact seller-but was unable to locate one, so am putting in review. Hopefully it is seen by the company. I had just ordered another box before i opened this one, so I hope it will be the better quality that i've come to know. If not, you can keep it.

Good grain
The product is good, except that for some reason, the packaging left black marks on the wood. The marks do sand off easily, but they shouldn't be there. If left out without something to keep the wood flat, it will warp, so keep something on top of the pile. Other than that, I'm using it for jewelry/keepsake box bottoms, and it is working well. The grain is perfect for this. I recommend.

Good quality wood, but many of the planks won't lie flat...
I bought this for my research lab to used with our Glowforge laser cutter. The wood itself is very nice quality, pleasant color, good grain. It's a uniform thickness. It glues really well with wood glue and also holds paint well (we make prototypes for children, so we use Real Milk Paint non-toxic paint). It does require a quick round of sanding to be nice to the touch (we use 400 grain sandpaper), but then it becomes buttery smooth! The glowforge settings that work best for us are 195 speed / full power for cutting and 700 speed / 70 power for a nice dark etch. The reason I'm giving this three stars instead of 5 however is that many of the boards do not lie flat. They are warped right out of the box, sometimes to the degree that they are unusable (the head of the cutter hits the raised edge on one side). In other cases, the boards are still usable but the laser will fail to properly focus on some sections, so the cut doesn't go through the wood completely (we could use slower settings, but then other portions of the cut burn). This is partially addressed by dividing the cut into smaller sections, continually repositioning the board so that we're cutting closer to the center (where the focus occurs), and taping the wood down to the bed. But, that doesn't work for all designs (i.e., a large shape) and is generally a pain. I'd say that we've wasted roughly 1/3 of this wood on prints that had to be tossed due to board warping. So, overall, I haven't found a better alternative, but I hope this review helps people plan their prototyping budgets...

These are good. Fairly flat, and cut well using Glowforge Medium Basswood Plywood settings.
