CorningWare Etch 7 Piece set

These are not only easier to hang-on to and cook food evenly, but are very stylish, which is nice to use them right from the oven to the table. Had to retire my old CorningWare because of difficulty in grabbing onto them in removing from the oven. Would recommend them to anyone.

I already have the 5-piece set that I bought directly from Corningware, then I bought the same one again when I saw it at Costco for a steal. I think I have enough servingware in my kitchen due to other gifts from family (who know I love red, even though they do not match) BUT when I saw this 7-piece set on Amazon, I had to have it! Unfortunately, 1 of the 7 pieces arrived shattered inside the product box even though there is no apparent damage to the shipping box. The crumpled paper to cushion the box within a box was probably not enough. When I contacted Amazon's Customer Service, they promptly submitted a replacement order and told me that I do not have to return the first set. Wow, now I have 6+7=13 pieces! I am still giving this 5 stars, because Customer Service handled my issue promptly and I'm sure they will change their shipping configuration. I've also uploaded them a photo and submitted packaging feedback. Anyhow, I definitely recommend this set (and any set from CorningWare) to my friends and family!

I really like these as an alternative to the usual French white old standards (which I have owned for dozens of years). Attractive, true to color, a nicer alternative for attractive oven-to-table or microwave-to-table. Cleans easy. Durable. Well made - what you would expect from Corning. I didn't give this a 5 for one reason -- the design of the lid for the deep casserole is not as thick as the usual Corning lids; it concerns me that I will break it. While the lid is much more attractive than the usual thick Corning covers; it may not make the test of time.

Bought this set to replace my french white large lasagne pan. This set cost less than some individual roasting pans, and they are very cute. I used them all for Thanksgiving dinner. The large pan was big enough to nicely fit my 14lb turkey. The covered pan was perfect for a large dressing presentation and the little crock held mashed yams. I couldn't believe how nice to see my table with this cute corning ware bakeware set. Best of all it bakes great, and cleans up great, and can go into the frig too! Love them!

Corningware Etch 4 piece cookware is a beautiful set !!The color is just what I had hoped for a rich deep red and creamy white. I like the texture on the outside it adds some depth to the dish I also love the design of the handles. My favorite tho is the design of the lid it is very graceful clear glass with a stoneware knob. With the holidays coming up I'm really glad I got this set. It has a larger pan for lasagna , a goodsized deep baker with lid and a smaller bowl which I will use for vegetables or sauces. This is a very versatile set.I love it !!

Just arrived but later than stated...I took one look at it and knew that it could not compare to the original corning ware...We are going to give it a try but the quality of this product in no way will last and hold up to the original, which I have several pieces of..the lid alone is too thin to hold up to much use and one slight bump I can see it breaking..I will search estate sales for the original from now on...I have used the original corning ware many times on the stove top as well as the oven which this can't. It is nice looking ...we will see how it holds up...i don't have faith in it though..

While this set is very attractive and well made, it is very heavy. If you have small hands as I do or if you have arthritis you may want to choose a different model. Not the best choice for me.

Received the first set damaged. Re-ordered and the replacement set was also damaged!!! Very poor packaging!!! The set itself it beautiful.
