Ugh, part of my attitude is probably because I am dismayed at needing a compression stocking! (So I may be biased). The biggest issue responsible for the 2 star rating is that the stockings won't stay up. The waist is large and as you might suspect, there is weird "excess" in the crotch area. Really, Unisex undergarments? I don't know why I thought it might fit. 20-30mmHg stockings are supposed to be a bit difficult to get on and these are, but not too bad. I don't think they offer adequate support and I ordered the smallest size available. Thickness is as expected and they seem to wash well & are durable. Overall, I do not find them to be very compressive and the fit is terrible. I do not recommend, especially at that price point.

I originally purchased the Jobst thigh-high compression stockings but the rubber "traction" at the top of the thighs, meant to hold the thigh highs up, dug into my thighs and made it extremely uncomfortable to wear them. The discomfort was actually distracting. (Note: I am a student. I therefore sit for much of the day and that may have added to the traction digging into the backs of my thighs.) I purchased the pantyhose version to avoid the thigh high discomfort and am now much happier with the product. I have found other reviews' complaint about having to pull the pantyhose up throughout the day to be accurate but I would rather have that nuisance than the physical discomfort from the rubber traction of the thigh highs. I usually have to adjust them/pull them up from around the tops of the knees through the thighs. One more thing: the pantyhose are notably more difficult to put on than the thigh highs were so if you are older or experience difficulty in general with putting hose on, you may want to consider the thigh highs over the panty hose.

These compressions are way more expensive than the Futuro ones I’ve always purchased, but they’re so much better! They have open toes, which are so nice especially when I’m wearing socks over them!! Wearing socks over closed toed compressions is not fun. They’re also much better in the summer. I don’t get as hot in them, which comes in handy at work! These allow me to hold down a job, which I could never do without great compressions. Thanks, Jobst!

I was looking for compression hosiery to wear under skinny pants for work as I am on my feet a lot and want to prevent swelling or any type of vein issues. Being a petite 5'2" woman it's hard for me to find hosiery that doesn't bunch at thigh crease and these do just that. They are very controlling but the control end about 6 inches below your bottom leaving the hip and behind to appear out of proportion to the rest of your tightly controlled lower body. Not a fan. Guess I will keep looking. For more beauty, fashion and wellness reviews and advice see my blog at [...]
