Small and great magnets to keep everything in place
I bought this for an older iPad and wanted to have a Bluetooth keyboard that didn’t slide around. The case has magnets in the bottom for the keyboard so you can move it around but it sticks where you place it. It’s easy to get the iPad into the top portion. It has a place even for a Bluetooth iPad pen, which is convenient. The magnet to close the case is very strong. I feel the iPad and keypad are secure. You do have to get used to the key placements on such a small keypad, but that’s a minor inconvenience. It was a great solution for using an iPad when you want to check emails, order off of Amazon or any other task that takes you a few minutes. Then you fold it up and you can put it in a drawer. It’s small enough that it’ll fit in a midsize purse as well.

My New Baby Laptop!
Given that the iPad 4 Mini first came out in late 2015, so now it's probably shy of being 10 years old, I'm late to the game and am lucky to find a keyboard to go with it.This has to be somewhat recent as it uses the current-day USB-C instead of the old-style Micro-USB or Mini-USB on older tech gear.I got this because it became frustrating replying to messages on my Playstation 5. Other players told me they had devices they used concurrently so they wouldn't have to leave the game screen to communicate. That gave me the idea to dust off the old iPad Mini. The case unfolds so you can prop the iPad Mini into one of three grooves depending on the viewing angle you need. The keyboard can be removed and repositioned accordingly. It's very light and mainly plastic. Its base is thin metal, allowing it to magnetically stick to the case.If you're not careful and pick up the case, it's easy to forget that the keyboard is not permanently attached -- it can easily fall out. However, if you're folding it up, the keyboard has maximum connection with the magnets in the case and it won't slide out.I stuck an old UBS-powered stylus into the pen slot and it fits pretty well. (This old Mini doesn't work with the original Apple Pencil that was made for the original 2015 iPad Pro)Pairing it with the iPad was straightforward. I hit the "Connect" button and the iPad's Settings > Bluetooth screen found it easily. Now, as I game on my PS5, I have a dedicated device to type on that doesn't take up too much space on my desk. The photos may make this look big, but it's tiny. It's my new "baby laptop." I'm digging it.

Returning: too many issues.
Case is super bulky and heavy. Keyboard wouldn’t stay in case. Charging cord didn’t work because it wouldn’t go all the way in the port on the keyboard. Other cords I had worked fine with it. In the end we probably would have kept it anyway as the Bluetooth connected quickly and easily. However, the T, U, and one of the shift keys didn’t work at all. Definitely not world the money.
