Well I’ve had this for two weeks now and have to say it certainly works well, you fill it with boiling water and 12 hours later it’s still steaming hot enough to make tea with, many other reviews here contain testimonies of this flask’s heat retaining properties, so far they seem correct, it is definitely superior to my previous steel flask. It’s one litre capacity is perfect for a day out and two cups saves carting a spare for Mrs Timelord.However, performance in real life is what matters. In the morning I fill it with coffee, add cold milk (when I used it for the first time, I made the mistake of adding hot milk but found it too hot to drink when I poured it). First cup of coffee at 8am, last cup of coffee at 5pm - still steamy hot.To sum up: this flask looks good, has a nice big easy to grab handle, two good sized cups and keeps liquids hot/cold all day. Do yourself a favour buy one. Update: So six months later, I have been using flask 5 days a week for work and occasional days out at weekends (lockdowns permitting). It's a real thermal work horse still keeping my drinks hot all day long, and no bits have broken, cracked or dropped off it. Great product. I'll update in another six months.☺ August 2021 - another six months later and its still going strong! :)Update: October 2022 - I’ve had my Kaave flask for two years now and still use it 5 days a week, the only problem I’ve had is the stopper seal split when I removed it for cleaning. I emailed Kaave asking if I could purchase another, they had none in stock, so they sent me a complete stopper instead, free of charge, great customer service! I note the seals are now available as kits (search Amazon for ‘Kaave Gasket for Big boy Spare Parts’), so I’ve since purchased some spares.The ‘metal’ cup is showing a few dings and scuffs but other than that my flask is still performing perfectly. Any tannin build-up in cups can be removed using a mix of bicarb of soda (baking powder) and lemon juice which works a treat, same inside the flask. I hold to my original statement – ‘Do yourself a favour buy one’, you won’t regret it.Update: August 2023, my Kaave flask is now three years old and I'm still using it five days a week, and it still performs perfectly.Note I have no connection to Kaave whatsoever I just like the fact that the flask does exactly what it should, and I want to help others make an informed choice.

Bought this to go on a touring holiday of Scotland with wife. Initially appealed because of nice design, has really useful proper handle for ease of carrying and the fact that it had 2 cups integrated in the design. Now the really good bit, as a pre trial we filled with boiling water to test how long it would hold its heat for and was so impressed. A full 24 hrs later the water we put in was still piping hot and even at 48 hrs later having opened to test temp at various time lapses the water was still just warm amazing. Needless to say we used it everyday on our hols and my tip is that if you want the product to stay super hot all day just fill the flask with hot water on its own or tea- coffee and hot water and take your milk separately. If you make your tea/coffee up in the flask with your milk it will naturally cool more quickly but still good for a trip. The 1 ltr size is just the right size to be big enough to wet your whistle and carry around in your day bag without being too big and cumbersome.

As part of my search for a flask, I read pages of reviews for various types and sizes of flask and took on board all the comments. Based on those reviews, this is the flask I chose and I am delighted with it. Recently, my husband and I did a 500+ mile journey; the flask was filled with fresh-brewed coffee at 6am. When we eventually got back home at 9pm the remaining coffee in the pot was still hot. It is easy to clean, it has two cups and you don't have to unscrew the stopper all the way to get at the contents. It is sturdy too - shortly after purchase, the flask was dropped on a ceramic tiled floor and suffered no damage whatsoever. Excellent product.

Great double cupped flask which doesn't leak! Love having 2 cups in one. It has a reassuring click when you twist the cups on so you know they are secured. Twist and pour with no spills or drips! Keeps drinks hot, not piping but hot enough (perhaps I was expecting too much expecting it to still come out scalding after 4 hours??). Does not leak - big bonus!!! Lost a star on the fact I could do with the opening being bigger to allow for larger ice cubes if you're wanting to keep your drinks cold. Only been using it for a week to take to and from work but overall happy with my Kaave flask so far.

This is a well engineered, extremely useful product. It keeps a generous 1litre of boiling water very hot for a very long time. The stopper is a clever pourer as well, complete with wording to show where it will pour (no need to make a mess!) and the whole thing handles nicely, lovely stainless steel. I am very happy with my purchase, an excellent use of my funds. Thank you KAAVE.

Received last Saturday. Did the 24 hour test with just hot water and made in my opinion 9 out of 10.6 hours - very hot12 hours - very hot23 hours very warmWe are currently in the Highlands of Scotland and took the “Big Boy” for a trek. Flask contained a mix of Hot Chocolate and Cappuccino. On arrival at start point (2 hours) after filling flask we had a drink; very hot! On conclusion of trek 5 hours later (7 hours of drink being in flask) it was hot and still enjoyable to drink. Our previous flask (another brand) the week before failed that test miserably.So early days but at this present moment we are extremely pleased with this purchase.Happy customer...

We use flasks for work - we are tree surgeons.Have had an Aladin flask which lasted for quite a few years but suddenly stopped keeping drinks hot!So bought this Kaave flask which is very similar.Good design, good size cups (2 which is handy!)Only used it once so far and kept tea hot.What might be good would be to have a bag or sleeve or something to protect it a bit.Good product so far - maybe should have had a logo on it somewhere to aid marketing?So far very pleased!
