We used a pair of these to calibrate our thermostats. They worked perfectly and did exactly what we needed. They seem to be somewhat slow on the refresh rate but otherwise we had no trouble with them. It was valuable to be able to trust the temp/humidity reading vs the various random temp sensors we had laying around the house.

Very high quality unit and very accurate (certified with each unit). These are used in hospitals where accurate temperatures and humidity readings are important. Example: laboratory solutions and reagents must be kept within parameters to insure accurate results for blood and viral tests. This is the unit that they use. Works great in my house. Amazing how inaccurate my thermostat is !

These little thermometers are great and come with an ISO-17025 calibration certificate valid for two years. We have six of these devices and we replace all six every two years because it's cheaper than sending them out for a ISO-17024 traceable recalibration. I don't know how they do it for as little as they cost
