First time purchasing MSI card;considered them lower quality.Asus,Gigabyte,Corsair,Razer(untill their invasive Win10 spyware OS) general favorites. I'm a sucker for elaberate,meticulous pretty packaging: MSI's version was surprisingly on par with Razer and Asus aesthetically. Compairing an FE card from one manufacturer to another is like comparing apples to apples theoretically,yet granny smiths are better than the overrated red delicious,MSI's ti fe is indeed the granny smith of fe gpu's; exceeding expectations from packaging to performance by a nominal margin,experienced increased fps from a sli 1080 nvidia fe hd bridge config to single msi 1080ti:completeing my mad scientist wanna be monster is- 48Gb adata ddr4 ram; i7 5820 cpu/oc to 4.0 ghz on a Gigabytex99 mobo. Results from impatient, improper, completely biased and unprofessional benchmarking was rather shockingly frustrating due to the few beers I drank as well, yet I gained 12-20 fps for Deus Ex:Batman Voice Edition and 10+fps increase in Crysis3, Matt Daemon!! Witcher 3 noticed only slight increase due to the amazing optimization from an incredible game developer. All bells,whistles,fireworks,and relax therapy settings on highway to hell yes max@3840x2160 res on a Samsung 4k 42in 60ghz refresh rate adequate gaming monitor/tv .Did not have the ambiant, supreme being higgs boson flux capacitating time and relevant dimensions in space kwisatz haderach sight beyond sight function turned on; seems almost parasitic when applied to form vs functionality formula;personal opinion applied to personal computer,I digress.Card has a tendency to run hot, have a customized DIY Towering tower with 7 fans and a closed loop radiator cpu H2O water cooler; all RGB. The MSI manufactered 1080ti,compaired to my Nvidia made gtx 1080's, very much on par, surpassing Nvidias quality; shocked in awe at my last beer, and of course my shiny new TI, just thought of another gripe: stupid crapware that comes with the thank you card from Grandma (exception being msi afternurner)via dvd rom.Best used as a coaster or frisbee. Would buy from MSI again, and just realized instead of writing this dissertation review I could be gaming;to summerize MSI is not bottom shelf Gordons stile peripials;extremely gratifying experience. I will purchase MSI products again

Pros: Runs every game I have absolutely flawlessly. Outperforms GTX 970 SLI Cons: Can reach 86c at full-load when running at stock cooling settings even in a Cooler Master HAF 922 Mid Tower case in 75f setting. If you adjust the fans to a 1.2~1.3:1 ratio using Afterburner the temps drop to between 65-70c with about a 70% fan speed max at full load under the same settings. At 70% fan speed you can totally hear the card working hard so if you're upgrading from a card that had an aftermarket cooler the noise factor might be a turn off for you.

This card is a beast. I can run any game at max settings at 1080p and the frame rate never drops below 60 FPS. On 4K, demanding games on ultra may drop to the *gasp* 30-45 FPS range (still perfectly playable IMO). If you're a baller, could get two of these and hook them up via SLI for even better 4K, but for most people one will do the job perfectly fine. Hopefully running at 85 degrees Celsius doesn't melt it into goo.

Price was right, and the product works great. I'm running a dual GPU setup and this card was my 2nd 1080ti. It works just like the other one I have. Perfect.

Outstanding performance. The blower fan on the FE is noticeably loader and runs hotter than other fan systems, as I expected. You can expect to hit thermal limits of 84C at full load, though you can control that by using MSI Afterburner to add an aggressive fan curve. This does create extra noise though, but I can't hear it in VR, so it's not a problem for me. I do have plans of watercooling the board.

It's a 1080 Ti, it's amazing. The performance of the blower style cooler is low as to be expected. It will reach 80 C but it will stabilize at that temp very well. If you plan on overclocking, you'll want a different cooler or get this one so that you can easily install a water block.

I upgraded my PC from a 980 ti and I ran 4K latest games under 30 FPS, Now I can run the games at 4K with 30+ FPS on ultra quality (but no more than 40-45). BTW, A little overpriced, but that the consequence to be early adopters.

Performance at it's best. Card takes everything I can throw at it faster than the gtx 760 sli setup it replaced. Plays all games maxed out on my 36" widescreen monitor.

He comprado esta tarjeta viniendo de una GTX 780ti, cabe mencionar que esta tarjeta es hermosa desde que la sacas de la caja, su diseño es precioso y su rendimiento es una maravilla, cualquier juego corre por encima de 80 FPS a la máxima configuración, la recomiendo? por supuesto que si, su rendimiento es insuperable, lo único malo de esta tarjeta es que se calienta a la máxima temperatura en cuestión de minutos, 84º celcius es el tope, claro, esto se puede evitar si tienes instalado el MSI afterburner y creas un perfil personalizado para el ventilador y problema resuelto. Esta tarjeta vale la pena comprarla!

Great card! I wish I had waited for the one with the aftermarket msi cooler (the black and red with two fans) but this card survived the summer without getting too hot. I don't play at 4K but still my max temps are in the 70s with custom fan speeds using msi afterburner. Temps were my only concern (fan noise is noticeably loud at 100%) because this card is a beast and I have zero complaints about performance.

Tengo varias tarjetas para mimar y esta se calienta exageradamente mucho más que las otras por qué está toda cerrada, tengo ganas de quitarle la tapa y ponerle mi propia ventilación.

Like others have said, this card is a beast. It's super heavy and large and just feels powerful. I'm using it on my 34" 3440x1440 display and it can handle anything I throw at it and remains really quiet. The only negative I'd say is that it came with a DVD with all the MSI apps on it, like Afterburner, Fan Control and so on, but only Afterburner works. Literally all the other apps (including the DVDSetup.exe file which autoruns) all say "This application does not support your GPU." which makes no sense as it came in the box with it but whatever, don't think I need any of that anyway. Also on the side forgot to mention, it says GEFORCE GTX which lights up neon green which looks awesome with my purple lights in my case. I just wish it said 1080ti as well. :)

Once again Nvidia did not disappoint with their flagship card. With the Pascal series getting a Founders Edition card is not much different than an aftermarket one. I am able to OC my card with the reference blower to 2 GHz without any issues. So there you have it - if you were at all concerned about a FE card plus it looks lot better than most of the aftermarket ones.
