Itās rubber
Well I used this between some clamps I bought and a tapered steel tube. This has allowed me to creat an constant grip for the clamp as well as deaden the vibration movement between the clamp. I hope it holds up to the temperature rating but Iāll be sure to try and keep it below 200F just to be safe.
